05.01.2022 The weather Gods were not on our side, but non the less a great time was had by all at Oysters, Prawns & Tunes @ Petana last Thursday. Sublime oysters from Jase, Signature Oysters, huge Aussie tiger prawns from Atsea at Ulladulla Harbour and the delicious seeded sourdough rolls from Kraken Sourdough were the perfect accompaniment. Mal, Barry & Steve played up an absolute storm. They were so good we're thinking of entering them in the next series of Australia's got talent - d...on't mention anything because it's a secret . Special thanks to Peter & Anna Sculpture at Petana at Petana Gardens for generously letting us use their beautiful property. #SFSC

02.01.2022 With the 2020 Slow Food Producer’s Grant now OPEN for applications, we went out to have a chat to Tim of Coopers Growing Tim was one of the lucky recipients of a Grant last year that enabled him to purchase two pieces of equipment to make weeding (and therefore his business) more efficient, and by the sound of it he’s pretty happy . And for our South Coast producers (St George’s Basin to Bodalla area) that are thinking of applying this year - make sure you watch till the en...d as Tim tells you how EASY the process is !!
