01.01.2022 AROUND THE GROUNDS: ROUND 4 ! How did your team go today ? Let us know your score below
01.01.2022 Hi Members! It hasn't been very well advertised via SAUCNA but this weekend is Breakthrough's Community Round. Breakthrough is a Mental Health Research Foundation who are dedicated to tackling mental health head on. Sporting clubs across South Australia will be tackling mental health head on this Saturday and I would love it if we could all be a part of it.... If you would like to be a part of this fantastic cause we encourage you all to wear purple today! PURPLE RIBBON WILL BE CIRCULATED AROUND THE CLUB ROOMS TODAY! $2 per ribbon! All proceeds go to this amazing cause. Thanks so much for supporting such a fantastic cause "With one in five Australians diagnosed with a mental health issue and more people aged between 15-44 years dying from suicide than any other cause it is imperative we support groundbreaking research to better understand what causes mental illness, how to treat it, and how to prevent it from happening. Mental illness doesnt discriminate and that includes sporting communities. Players, teammates, coaches, support staff and volunteers as well as our friends and family on the sidelines."
