25.01.2022 With Talk Like A Pirate Day just over the horizon, we anchored up today and headed for land as we’d heard a wee tale during our last stop in Port Royale that an island not far from Small Friends Bay may have some long lost treasure looking to be found!! Our First Mate lead the hunt and even though the going was tough we found the loot right on that X, and the crew were smiling ear to ear and dancing a jig until the sun went down!

22.01.2022 Another blink of an eye and one of our youngest Housemates hits the big 3...when did that happen MasterJ! Your Thursday crew certainly made sure the HIP HIP HOORAY was in full volume and that your day was full of birthday smiles! 3

21.01.2022 Give Me A ... A W E S O M E ...what does it spell? US OF COURSE!!! 2 weeks of cheering and competing against each other in our own sports extravaganza is already so much fun!!

20.01.2022 Yesterday Sunday January 3rd, 2021 I stood proud as a Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Mum and ANZAC Cottage villager singing a rousing rendition of Hip Hip Hooray to the ever awesome Marjorie...100 years young and totally a national treasure! And once again I count myself lucky to live in this part of the world, as I had the privilege in sharing an historic celebration with one of the villages I am so very proud to be a part of. Anzac Cottage in Mt Hawthorn has been part of my life ...for more than 2 decades, and to celebrate Marjorie's day of birth was extremely special for my family. The cottage was Marjorie's family home and was actually built by the Mt Hawthorn community IN ONE DAY (that is not a typo!) for her father Private John Porter, who sustained an injury during WWl and was our first returning West Australian soldier. The community built John and his family ANZAC Cottage to thank him for his service, and on January 3rd 1921 Marjorie was born in the front room of ANZAC Cottage! Aside from my own fabulous whnau, most of the other amazing human beings pictured below have been part of my life for more than half of my existence on this planet; they have supported me in my own voluntary role in the veteran community; have watched my kids grow up, and have supported my Dad in all that he has done alongside Marjorie's daughter Anne to rebuild ANZAC Cottage to the wonderful memorial it is today. May the moments in time of past generations be remembered by those of us living in the present, and be recorded for future generations as stories to be shared near and far.

19.01.2022 OH MY today’s HIP HIP HOORAY is reminding many of the Big People in the house that time certainly is running in Hare gear and not Tortoise!! Not long ago MissT you were popping in to see us as a Bub, and here we are today doing 4 BIRTHDAY claps!! HAPPY FANTABULOUS 4

17.01.2022 We may be aged 2 to a few years past 50, but the time we get to spend together is what our world is all about whether we’re : playing one of our favourite games chatting about how to look after ourselves as we grow up to be AWESOME human beings listening to our mates at News Mat using our brains and getting out hands working during a STAR session ... creating something out of nothing in our backyard ...and soooooo much more! When We All Join In the moments in our world are totally AMAZEBALLS! So now we have 3 days to recharge our batteries which means we’re going to be ready and raring to go for the first week of the school holidays! Have a FANTABULOUS long one Everyone! 17.01.2022 Our Elves are hard at work everyday bringing giggles and smiles to our house in all that they do from decorating, to building new toys plus making sure Santa gets a chance to meet all of housemates each morning!

16.01.2022 The big blue is calm, Mama Nature is giving us just enough wind to fill our sails, and whilst land may well be close we’re not becoming landlubbers any time soon as we’re making the most of our adventure on the high seas and totally loving our week as Lil’ Pirates!

15.01.2022 Since 2013 our Christmas Break is the time that my clan of 4 pull on our DIY hats and get jobs done that just don’t work for our world through the year, and we’re totally stoked that for our 2020 DIY To Do’s we needed help from one of our AMAZEBALLS villagers! Paris’ LEGENDARY hubby Matt has been working his magic in our house today with Mandurah Custom Kitchens upgrades to our kitchen and our housemates bathroom, and whilst we’re not done yet, it’s all looking a wee bit FANTABULOUS!

Growing up to be AWESOME humans is what our Teachers help us to do everyday, and this week we’re helping ourselves and each other... putting our shoes on getting the tricky bits on our clothing worked out making sure our skin is protected from the sun’s kisses keeping our hands and faces clean... tidying our house and backyard and helping friends as we play and learn together! Busy minds and feet did mean a few of us needed to rest once we had done lunch, but with our batteries recharged the afternoon continued to be full of uber fun moments in time!

From our Pet Chats to playing Doggie Doggie Where’s Your Bone and everything in between, we’ve ticked off another week of so much to do, so much more to learn and so few minutes to pack it all into!!! 02.01.2022 Talking about our best friends of another species is something we are totally loving this week, and it’s FANTABULOUS to hear all the pet tales my friends have to tell! And as you will see in our moments, some of us have got our pets moves down pat, and making a pet to take home is AWESOME fun!
