22.01.2022 AUDREY A beautiful cat with a lovely dainty face Audrey is a super friendly girl who is estimated to be 1-2 years old. She was rescued from the streets and is now enjoying the luxuries of being pampered indoors. ... Audrey is looking for a peaceful home, where she can continue to trust humans and enjoy her head pats and belly scratches. Audrey requires a good quality diet to compensate for having poor diet on the streets. Audrey was a loving mum to two known litters whilst living there. If you are out for the day, Audrey is quite happy to spend some time alone, as long as she has a nice window to sit and watch the day go by. Audrey is a beautiful girl, with a dainty face. She is a tabby with gorgeous yellow and green eyes. Audrey prefers the be the only cat in the household. Audrey tolerates little dogs but would prefer to be in a home with no other cats or dogs. Audrey loves to have a clean litter tray at all times. She would prefer to have two litter trays to ensure one is always clean. Audrey has been tested for FIV and is FIV negative. 20.01.2022 Hey lovely people We need your help donating to these puppies health costs. We have two babies that have been rushed to emergency and although we have emergency funds set aside for these reasons, our emergency account is now depleted!!... Poor little Rocco was taken to the vet overnight as he had severe hookworm. He was very dehydrated and needed to stay overnight. He tested negative for parvo...... The bill for Rocco was $1353.00 We thank AES at Carrara for looking after our little man. Our second pup in emergency care is our little girl rottie x. She was attacked by a large adult dog and has a split palate and a hairline fracture of the eye socket which will heal on its own but she’s having emergency surgery today to wire her palate back together. A rough estimate for surgery is about $2,000. So we are asking those who can help to donate to our Facebook fund (there are no fees so we get the full amount) or you can donate direct to the vet for our rottie pup - we have paid for Rocco in full already. Please message us for the vet details for our rottie pup girl if you would prefer to donate direct to the vet

He loves looking after foster kittens! He would prefer to live with another cat but because he is so timid they would need to be gentle. 19.01.2022 ’ ...... . Our transport had a Tyre blow out and seriously damaged the vehicle. Our President is currently still in a rural QLD location waiting for insurance to fix/write off the vehicle....... when the Tyre blew out it caused the car and trailer to lurch to the left violently and took out the left side of the vehicle and trailer against an embankment on the highway ...... The transport trailer is also a write off,... again we are awaiting insurance to advise if this will be paid out. (Lucky we have insurance but it’s the waiting that is inconvenient as we are in such a remote location). Gaige, one of our new arrivals was chomped on her head by a larger dog and has a split soft palate which required X-rays, Medication and a short stay in hospital. No surgery at the moment as she is so young but the vet bill was a sizeable amount..... Rocco, one of our new arrivals had severe hookworm infection, and required an emergency vet stay on IV fluids and medication..... another large bill. Rosco, another of our new arrivals has contracted parvo, and as we caught it early he’s only been in hospital for a few days but with generous monitoring at the vet with in patient care we have a hefty bill for him. Oakey, another of our new arrivals also has contracted parvo, even though he had one vaccination as his first puppy vaccination. So tonight he is also in hospital as we caught it quickly. There will be another hefty bill for him in about a week. ..... ? Can you spare $7 (or more) to donate to our fundraiser? To replace our trailer, we need to fundraise about $3,000 on top of the insurance. The one we intend to buy is a 6 bay Trek trailer and we need to raise a bit more than our insurance payout as it was only a 4 berth. This will allow us more availability to transport animals for us - and other rescue groups which we do now monthly. We also need to replenish our emergency account which we keep $5,000 for real emergencies. This is to ensure we can rush any animal to an out of hours vet - which is when any emergency always happens. With fundraising opportunities limited due to COVID-19 we are unable to have BBQ days or adoption days. So we are asking you to donate your cup of coffee one day this week Or if coffee is not your thing, perhaps your glass of wine Facebook fundraisers are a good way to donate as we don’t get charged a fee, although it’s a $7 minimum. It is tax deductible though. .... ’ . THANK YOU FOR READING ABOUT OUR WEEK If you would like to know how you can help if you cannot donate money please contact us and we can talk about how you can help

17.01.2022 Hi ! everybody It’s that time of year when we begin to get inundated with requests to take in adult animals due to circumstances outside the control of most people. At least twice a day we are being asked to take in adult cats and dogs.... Additionally at this time a lot of our regular foster carers are taking Christmas holidays. And boy they deserve them! It’s also the time of year when we begin to think about the year ahead. We do up a budget, we think about what resources we are going to need, we look at our upcoming vet bills, and we look at what we’re going to need to get us through the next 12 months. So today we are starting our Christmas fundraiser. And the good thing is you don’t even need to go to the shops We’ve included details below where you can donate as little as two dollars, two as much as you can afford. Your donation is tax-deductible as we are a DGR deductible gift recipient charity. This means that when you donate, you request a tax donation receipt and then a tax time you claim your donation via your tax return. Your donations will purchase the following; Worm tablets Food Medications Special food for pregnant animals Neonatal supples such as formula Vet bills (in advance) So please consider donating, you can donate as little as $2 directly to our bank account or as little as $7 via the Facebook fundraiser. We also have Square EFTPOS payments if you would like to donate via a debit or credit card. For card payments please call us on 0487 794 261 For your tax donation receipt, once you donate please email us at [email protected]

09.01.2022 PUFF Cutest little Super Kitten Hi, I’m little Puff, the "Power Puff Girl"! I am the smallest of my foster clan, but that doesn’t stop me from joining in all of the kitten fun. I am also a lot quieter than my brothers and sisters and prefer a good snuggle and nap, sometimes. ... Don’t get me wrong, I’m also excellent at foiling any villain kitty plans and I’m not afraid to pounce in the name of justice or stinky toes. I still need to do more growing with foster brothers and sisters before I can find my forever home but I’m looking forward to the day when I have my forever family who I can protect from any evil mastermind and also shower them with my super snuggles! If you think you can provide the purrrrrfect forever home for our very own super kitten "Puff" please click on this link: www.petrescue.com.au/listings/822104
