18.01.2022 Thrilled that our song I Don’t Believe You has been included on this collection of incredible songs set for release tomorrow!! 2021 being what it is, we’re not sure if we’ll be attending the awards in person or cheering everyone along at home but either way we’re honoured to be nominated among an incredible group of artists. These folk have pushed on through a shocker of a year and kept on putting beautiful music out in to the world and for that, we thank you. Cannot WAIT to get sweaty with you all at the 50th Tamworth in 2022.

17.01.2022 We have new music coming out on Friday. I Don’t Believe You is a song written with one of our greatest heroes Joy McKean and performed with another Anne Kirkpatrick. This piece is close to our hearts.
13.01.2022 ‘I Don’t Believe You’ is a song Joy began writing the song after Slim died which she then entrusted to Flora and Jim to finish. They’ve now recorded it, with Anne, and it appears on the soundtrack for Slim & I. They could not have done a better job at finishing the song, or honouring this extraordinary family legacy, or simply producing a wonderful country music track that evokes the past while sounding crisply contemporary. This really is a perfect film for when you go on your beach trip and the weather turns dodgy. If you live in Victoria you’ll be very familiar with this scenario.

It is a timely reminder of our Australian music heritage, a strident affirmation that our country has its own heroes and that sometimes we look afar for treasures when we just have to look down to our feet, where we are standing and the precious legacies that others have left us on these shores.' Jim co-produced this release with Dave Parker with the hope that it would shine a light on the breadth and depth of this remarkable catalogue. It is so wonderful to read this considered review from Listening Through The Lens. On-line roots music magazine and to see that the soundtrack is doing exactly that.

Written with the incomparable Joy McKean and performed with our mum/mum in law Anne Kirkpatrick, this song is really special for our family and it’s so gratifying to know that others have connected with it as well. Congratulations to all the incredible nominees across the different categories. Congratulations and thank you to EVERYONE who has managed to keep making music this year. It’s been a slog, you’ve helped immensely.

This song is such a special collaboration and we have been touched by peoples responses. A huge thanks to all the kind radio folks for the chats and for giving our tune a spin with an extra big thank you to those in community radio. 03.01.2022 Well this has been a LONG road. Slim & I - Movie is out in the cinemas today! I've been working on bringing this project to life for 7 years. It’s been a labour of love and not without sacrifice but the result is a beautiful film that pays tribute to an incredible legacy. If you are somewhere it is safe to go to the cinema, please go and enjoy! If that isn’t an option for you (like our fellow Victorian pariahs) please rest assured there will be other opportunities to see... the film down the track. While we are disappointed that we can’t watch this film with a cinema audience (and a choc top) or attend any fancy premieres, the fact that this story will be shared with the world is the ultimate reward. Tonight we’ll be raising a glass to this beautiful film, to all those who made it happen and of course to Joy. We are so excited for everyone to get to know what an indomitable force of love, life and talent you are! Jim

01.01.2022 Well this is a nice! We made this clip many moons ago but still love it. It's great to see it is still bubbling away out there in internet land and to know that people continue to enjoy the extreme dirty-dimmy close ups. If you never saw it, prepare to be wowed by our acting chops.
