Seeing that I'm in a video mood this week, I read an article today that made me really think about the importance of relevance. I talk about it a great deal these days, simply because it's so easy to lose relevance in a rapidly changing world. And once lost, it's hard to get back, well generally it's impossible. Once again, we find ourselves in the midst of a challenging period. Whether it be a natural disaster, financial challenges, personal issues or bug related problems, we all have to deal with tough times throughout our life. But is it all doom and gloom? From my experience, generally not. ... The real key is the importance of learning from our tough times. If we learn, we get better, and if we get better, the tough times are not as challenging and in fact, we get to take advantage of the opportunities that they present.
