18.01.2022 As much as I hate to say it, the weather is turning. Get you heaters out and try them sooner than later. Dust can build up in the unit and they can run inefficiently. Give me a call if you need advice or if you think the unit may require a service.

15.01.2022 If you have a storage hot water system you will see these valves attached to the unit. The valve on the left is a "temperature pressure relief valve", this valv...e will release water from the tank if the temperature exceeds a certain temperature and the valve on the right is a "pressure relief valve", this valve will release water when the pressure in the tank gets too high. This valve will drip while your hot water system is heating up. A good tip with these valves is to release water by lifting the hook upwards, let the water run for 5 seconds then close. Doing this every 3 to 6 months will lengthen the life of the valves. If these valves constantly drip then it will require replacement. Put a reminder in your diary. 10.01.2022 Hi all. Be aware if you ever smell gas from your cupboards, around gas heaters, hot water systems or gas meter boxes outside give me a call. I can detect and repair for you. Any gas leak can be dangerous and could be costing you. Call Steve on 0419 049 771.
