Officeworks offers recycling drop offs for old tech including computers, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, DVDs and cables. If recycling drives, there's also data sensitive tech recycling services out there if you want to be sure your data will be destroyed. Handy if you want those terrible haircut photos to never be seen by human eyes. Recycling our old technology is important for multiple reasons. The metals and components are very useful and can be recycled and reused. Keeping these products out of landfill helps reduce their environmental impact. Additionally, recycling programs provide employment and educational opportunities for people.
