25.01.2022 HOMEBUILDER SCHEME What we know so far... $25,000 Grant for new homes costing <$750,000 and Major Renovations >$150,000.... Contracts signed between June 4 and Dec 31. Works to commence within 3 months of signing. Means tested... Singles earning < $125,000 Couples earning < $200,000 Grant applies to owner occupied property only. Renovations to the dwelling only, does not include swimming pools, sheds, etc. What we don't know... Can the First Home Owners Grant to be used in conjunction with Homebuilder. How the funds will be paid. Stay tuned for updates.
