23.01.2022 What Does it mean when we have an amount - Carry over balance on our invoice? CCS is calculated in advance for the week /week advance period, this CCS is an estimated amount only. Centrelink operate on a two week cycle so when attendances are reconciled actual CCS in then pulled through which may change the balance owing.The carryover balance on the invoices is made up of a few different things, unfortunately our software provider can't provide a breakdown for us at this ti...me but they are working on it. As we charge in Advance we are using your child's entitlements to estimate what the CCS amount we will receive is. This can change over the course of two weeks or Centrelink has backdated a change then included in the carryover balance. Secondly if you had any casual days or an increase in days during the 2 week period these will be added included in the carryover balance on the next invoice. If some families started mid billing cycle they will also see a carryover balance which would be the first week they attended. Also if there have been issues with your payment being taken on time then this will also affect the carryover balances. Any charges not paid by the next invoice date will be added into the carryover balance on the next invoice. I hope that this provides some understanding of reading your invoices. 12.01.2022 Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced this morning that the Greater Brisbane area, affecting five Local Government Areas (LGAs) including Brisbane City, Logan City, Moreton Bay Regional and Redland City will enter a three-day lockdown from 6:00 pm Friday 8 January to 6:00 pm Monday 11 January 2021. All residents in those areas need to stay at home unless it is for essential work, providing healthcare for a vulnerable person, essential shopping or to exercise in y...our local neighbourhood. Early learning services are considered an essential service and may remain open however families are advised to stay home unless they are performing essential work and as always if anyone is feeling unwell, stay home and get tested. If people do go outside, masks in those areas are mandatory, however children under the age of 12 are exempt. This decision was made in a bid to stop the spread of the highly-infectious United Kingdom strain of the COVID-19 virus. ACA Qld will provide further advice as it becomes available, however until then stay safe.
