Richard (Rich) from Autism MATES is an extraordinarily beautiful young man who is making a big difference in our world. Richard who is on the Autism spectrum has spent the last few years with his mum Randa, going around to many primary schools with his puppet show Timmy the Turtle. The purpose of the puppet show is to teach inclusiveness, to celebrate our differences, b...ring awareness to autism & to put a stop to bullying. Late last year Richard was awarded the Westfield Eastgardens Local Hero award for his work & with his monetary prize he is now working with a team of amazing young people on the spectrum to bring his puppet show to life in the form of animation. If you follow the page you watch all the behind the scenes fun the team are having, whilst producing this incredible & professional piece of work. In a couple of months Richards work will be available for all children around the country, through our schools. Richard is a true champion & we need more people like him!
