22.01.2022 Another new size from Nankang The 235/50R13 N729 is now available and complements the 215/50R13 N729. Perfect fitments on 7" wide rims that are popular on early Holden's FB, FC ,EK and Torana LC & LJ etc also a great fitment on Ford Escort and Cortina's , Mazda Rx7 , RX3 , RX2. These will find themselves on a Holden FB sedan.

15.01.2022 Yesterday we found some time to do some maintenance on our own vehicle. It was time for front and rear disc rotors and brake pads on the ute. We fitted some of Bendix's new Ultimate disc rotors and Ultimate brake pads to both front and rear. Since the ute was new I have used the Ultimate pads in the front and have found them absolutely superb as far as brake feel and stopping power goes albeit being pretty dusty. This time around I thought we would try their new rotors with ...the matching pads to see what the difference will be over a standard rotor. So far the feel has very good but I haven't tried any heavy breaking as yet till everything beds in properly. I was amazed at how long the rear standard discs and pads have lasted 218,000kms since new.

14.01.2022 Hello to all , today I thought I would post something a bit more about me rather than what I have been doing in the workshop as per I would usually post. Some if you may know that I have a love of flying which is all I have ever wanted to do since I was a younger version of myself Its something that that I have not been able to do indulge myself in this year as everything has been so busy and also has not been as accessible as I would like dur to Covid 19. So anyway her is a few photos of a short flight that I did this morning before the winds started to kick up a bit. I hope everyone likes what they see

Federal Tyres new Explora RT , these ones in a 37x12.50R17 129Q 10PR fitted onto some Kings 17x9 D HOLE rims which are destined for an IVECO Daily 4x4 that is in Derby.

Vehicle - GMC Denali HD The requirements were ... 1 more load capacity - AT pattern , not too aggressive Not too noisy Slightly taller All requirements met We are also trying to sell the original tyres kn behalf of the customer if anyone is interested. These have done 5000km Replacement cost $695 each 265/60R20 Goodyear Wrangler RS/A Listed at $450 each but open for offers.

10.01.2022 Another busy week with lots of interesting jobs. This one stands out the most . I was asked about a set of white wall "flappers" for a FC Holden station wagon . I managed to source and fit some Atlas white walls to a set of freshly painted and re barrelled rims with Nankang tyres. They come up an absolute treat and look awesome on this classic which is definitely a tribute to tge owners attention to detail and workmanship.

09.01.2022 A bit of a treat today. I had the pleasure of working on a good friends newly acquired Honda Nsx. An absolutely gorgeous example of the marque to which we fitted a set of Advan ADO8R tyres and as usual one of our 4 wheel alignments to make sure everything is pointing where it should

06.01.2022 Wow what a transformation with this one. 2007 Hilux for a suspension upgrade using Pedders Trakryder springs and shocks , 50mm raise on the front with Xtreme upper control arms to correct the geometry change due to the lift. New rear shocks as rear spring packs were good and we were aiming to keep the vehicle level. New 17x8 Dynamic D imitation beadlocks fitted with Kumho AT51 285/70R17 tyres finish off what I believe is a very pleasing look.... 05.01.2022 Here is a couple recent jobs that we have done on cars that have a wide following. Most people will remember Allan Moffat man handling Fords awesome Falcon GTHO around Australias race tracks especially at Bathurst. In the late 70s early 80s he changed his mount from the Falcon to Mazdas little RX7 which proved to be a very sprightly performer. This little red example we had in for tyres was a lovely example of a Series 1 Rx7.... The other job was one of Toyotas Ae82 Corolla Twin cam , this is the car that began the Hot Hatch revolution which showed that with a few choice modifications a humble "shopping trolley" could become a very sporty and nimble car. Both cars were fitted with the Nankang NS-2R tyres as both owners wanted something with a bit better performance than a standard road tyre
