25.01.2022 It was so tough choosing a #sneakpeek from my photo session with @franklinandleo , but I honestly couldn’t get past how cute they are in this one with their matching flannels! These boys were a lot of fun to photograph, especially with their matching clothes and their gorgeous bond, as brothers and best friends. 09.01.2022 My beautiful girl went to the cardiologist today for her DCM screening. Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) is unfortunately extremely prevalent in Dobermans, and from what the vets have told me, genetic testing isn’t able to test for all genetic markers of the breed, so it’s impossible to say that any dobie won’t ever develop it. So screening is the best way to catch it early, before the disease progresses into heart failure. She had an ultrasound today, and is now wearing a Ho...lter monitor to monitor her heart’s electrical signals for 24 hours (will post a pic in my story so you can see what it is) so we won’t know the results until tomorrow afternoon, which is nerve wracking as all hell. Nala is so happy and healthy and it’s hard to imagine her being unwell, but they have detected a murmur and possible leak already so I’m finding it hard not to start panicking. Please send some good thoughts Nala’s way! 07.01.2022 My favourite photo from Braden and Bundy’s Golden Years session. Getting them to stand together for a photo wasn’t an easy feat as they had other things they wanted to do (like sniffing everything!), which is why this photo is even more special to me.
