18.01.2022 Children who mouth breathe do not develop their palate and oral cavity correctly, usually experience overcrowded teeth as they mature which requires orthodontics and have a higher risk of being the adults with sleep apnoea in later life. It is not normal or healthy to mouth breathe and needs to be corrected. If your child mouth breathes. bring them in for a consult with one of our wonderful Oral Health Therapists so we can assess and assist with a referral to a suitable specialist. Alternatively, see your GP as soon as practical.

05.01.2022 Fruit teas are so good for you and Hibiscus tea, has recently been scientifically proven to be as good as medical drugs for controlling your blood pressure. However, hibiscus tea like most fruit teas are an acidic drink and so enjoy it but also rinse your mouth with water after drinking it. Your teeth will thank you as much as your heart. Always consult your doctor when considering using natural remedies in exchange for medical treatment.
