23.01.2022 Hello out there! That's how I feel when I get silly enough to write on this thing! Tonight I have been contemplating how the world has changed so quickly in the last two decades... My children can't remember how much simpler things were.... Not necessarily better but simpler! Tonight I would like to try to begin to define Australian culture, the problem has always been we are sooo free and easy going, so diverse... It is almost impossible to define? ... BUT before we loose this invaluable identity in this crazy world, I would like to remember what we've got! I just love being an Aussie! For those of you who don't understand this eccentricity; I lived overseas for 6 years between the ages of 6 & 12 and we are the lucky country! To post or cancel?!??!!? I haven't given some of you a good giggle/ food for thought; for a while! Have a great week'nd! 08.01.2022 Smileybells closes today for the Easter break. Traditional, genuinely real hot cross buns : fruit, fruitless & chocolate available in store today. Wishing all a happy and safe weekend! Why does Smileybells taste different? Because he does it the old fashioned way, the dough matures for a satisfactory time, not raced through because money is more important than good quality food!

02.01.2022 Smiley, although not yet in his 60's was the man involved in last nights accident. He is currently in hospital and we will be closed until further notice. I have Smiley's first apprentice coming to help me with this weekends cakes. I will contact these customers when I get home this afternoon. Other cakes unfortunately will be cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience.
