23.01.2022 Another beautiful day as we continue our filming week in Port Pirie - we spotted these Come See Change plaques posted on every single post at Memorial oval! Port Pirie Come See Change #smithassociates

22.01.2022 In this week's #ThrowbackThursday we are looking back to 2001 at this series of posters designed for Tourism Tasmania. Our brief was clear and simple - get Tasmania entrenched on the global tourism map. Boasting a rich diversity of experiences and landscapes, how could we make the discovery of each palpable for international travellers? With planning and production logistics to rival a major film shoot, a series of six visually iconic collage posters told the story of three t...ravelling couples’ holiday into history, pristine produce and Tasmanian wilderness. The campaign remains one of Tourism Tasmania's longest running (over a decade) and was extended beyond initial key Australian and New Zealand markets to include versions created specifically for Japan, Singapore and China. #smithassociates #20yearsofsmithassociates

19.01.2022 Our fantastic film crew having a pre-shoot dinner and briefing in Port Pirie last night. #smithassociates

15.01.2022 On a day when the major news in the U.S.A. is once again about greed, corruption and the abuse of power in the highest office, our #ThrowbackThursday goes back to 2002 when Australia was about to go to war in Iraq. Our penned bumper sticker, 'The U.S. doesn't speak for US.' went viral, became a song and the backdrop for Senator Bob Brown's first press conference following our Parliament's commitment to the war. #smithassociates #20yearsofsmithassociates

15.01.2022 Do you remember this music video that was part of our 'just like that' campaign from 2002? ‘You Blew It’ was so popular that radio stations received calls inquiring whether the song in the commercial was available to the public.

08.01.2022 A huge congratulations to everybody involved in the launch of The Uni Hub Spencer Gulf in Port Pirie today! We loved helping craft the brand for this exciting new tertiary education centre!

06.01.2022 In today’s #ThrowbackThursday we are looking back to 2002 when SmithAssociates created new branding for islandstate, providing not only corporate and retail messages but a vision for a corporate theme for staff as well as members that would grow the organisation into the state’s leading credit union. The campaign results were outstanding. Housing lending was 37% over budget for the first six months and 57% over budget compared to the same period in the previous year. Total le...nding was 23% over budget and 42% better than the same period a year earlier. As a result of this strong lending, islandstate’s other sales also increased with record sales for General Insurance also. #20yearsofsmithassociates

05.01.2022 This #ThrowbackThursday we are asking "What’s your plan?" Created in 2004 as part of our (unprecedentedly successful) 'just like that' campaign, this road safety sub-brand targeted young rural drivers with a simple question; "What's your plan?". Market research showed that 76% of drivers said the campaign changed the way they drove, and the significant reductions in crash and injury statistics said so too! #smithassociates... #20yearsofsmithassociates See more

04.01.2022 The amazing film crew who worked on the TLAP TIPS production at Port Pirie. The week of filming went smoothly, in large part thanks to our wonderful cast of Port Pirie residents! And we are all looking forward to the end results when the campaign goes to air and online. L-R: Marcus Bosisto (Grip), David Tang (DOP), Rowan Smith (Director), Lachlan Coles (Sound), Skye Bailey (Hair & Makeup), Anni May Jensen (Production Assistant), Mira Soulio (Camera Assistant), Kathy Gould (St...ills Photographer). #smithassociates

03.01.2022 Rowan and Anni May planning the logistics for the TLAP TIPS shoot in Port Pirie. Their week of planning made of a smooth week of shooting for the film crew.

02.01.2022 Anni May’s passion is discovering and driving down new roads - over the weekend (between the very busy two weeks of shooting our new campaign) she took some time out to find some new roads to mark off on her map. Her adventure found her driving through Germaine Gorge and visiting the towns of Murray Town, Melrose, Wirrabara, Laura, Gladstone and Crystal Brook. What do you like to do outside of work? Let us know in the comments.... #smithassociates @ South Australia
