21.01.2022 Today is RUOK Day. But it's important to remember that a single day won't make the difference, it's the connections we make with people that will help us through the tough times. It's our friends, our family, even those random acts of kindness from strangers that lift our heart. Today is the day to remind us to be there all year for those we love and care about.

18.01.2022 We've got a visitor in the Gawler Clinic today! One of our clients has found a poor little joey that has fallen out of a tree, but couldn't find his mother so handed him into us. Luckily Nurse Mel knows a lot about looking after rescued possums, and she's taken the lead in caring for this exhausted little guy this morning. He'll be on his way to a wildlife carer to make sure he grows up big and strong and ready to head back out into the wild!

15.01.2022 In 2018 Inky the octopus escaped his tank at the National Aquarium of New Zealand by pulling himself out of his tank, crawling 3 metres across the floor and then through 30 metres of drain that emptied into Hawkes Bay, on the east coast of New Zealands North Island. Rob Yarrell, National Manager of the aquarium said, "I dont think he was unhappy with us, or lonely, as octopus are solitary creatures. But he is such a curious boy. He would want to know whats happening on the outside. Thats just his personality. Houdini, eat your heart out.

06.01.2022 This year scientists have confirmed the existence of the New Guinea Singing Dog in the wild. Closely related to the dingo, they don't bark, but howl like a cross between a wolf and a whale. One of the rarest dog breeds in the world, there have been only scattered sightings since the breed was discovered in the 50's, but on a recent trip researchers have located multiple dogs and are confident the wild population is healthy and strong.

The bra is designed to put pressure on the crop to help it empty and get this girl back into the chookyard. Designing chicken bra's - just another skill our vet nurses possess!
