23.01.2022 We are most excited to host a Market Day for 2020. As we start to come together to make another successful day for our community. The date is set for Saturday 22nd August 8am to 12pm. We invite any friends or family who would be interested to secure a space for $20. We are hosting the event in our beautiful natural environment in the yards. Please email your confirmation to Kim at [email protected]. We will hold a sausage sizzle and a coffee van to serve your needs. Look forward to working with you all in our community.

20.01.2022 Our new bridge arrived to finish of the Senior Yard. "How many people does it take to carry a bridge mmmmmmm". Lots of strong muscles needed to carry the bridge from the trailer to the yard. Nice work everyone. Thankyou to the Men's Shed Cairns for building us our new bridge. We are most excited to have the local community to support us with our projects. Highly recommend the men's Shed for any building projects. Locals supporting Locals. The bridge will be ready to use when Steve has painted the bridge then will be ready for the children to start to explore.

06.01.2022 A position as become available as a Kitchenhand to work in the kitchen. Smithfield’s a state of the art early learning centre which caters for children 0-5 years. The centre offers a variety of natural play spaces and services to cater to the needs of the children. The centre has a barnyard of animals, reptiles etc. The centre caters for all meals to the children including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon teas. All food is prepared fresh daily. The menu is on a rotati...on which meets the guidelines-of Nutrition Australia. Position available Now Position is Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30 The role is assisting the chef in food Preparation when required. Previous Experience is essential. 02.01.2022 We are going to be holding another Community Market Day at the centre in August. We are reaching out to our families , friends who would be interested to hold a stall. The cost of a stall is $20. Looking at Saturday 22nd August this will be our Father’s Day one. We are holding the stalls in our beautiful yard. 8am-12pm. Feel free to express your interest. Proceeds goes towards Relay for Life.
