04.01.2022 After 6 months of hard training my Ironman Langkawi adventure has been completed and I'm happy with my results. I may have not been at the pointing end of the field like I had hoped, but finishing one of the most brutal Ironman's is an accomplishment is its self. My goal was to complete the course in 10hours 30minutes and i achieved 10hours 41minutes - very close and happy. What got me across the line was sticking to my race plan. I believe it's important to create a plan... (actually multiple plans) and stick to it. I saw a lot of people go too hard on the bike and blow up on the run, or start to hard on the run and have to walk the final 25ks...
