Young people from the year 9 cohort learnt about their legal rights and responsibilities in street law, drugs and the law and healthy relationships. 15.01.2022 Celebrating a 25-Year Partnership We recently rebranded our partnership as ‘Integrated Services for Survivor Advocacy’, with a focus on the integrated partnership and incredible service to the community. The recently renamed ISSA program is a 25-year-old partnership between Springvale Monash Legal Service (SMLS) and the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (@SouthEasternCASA).... The program provides legal advice, assistance and representation to victims/survivors of sexual assault, and family members affected by the assault other than the offender. The service specializes in Applications for Assistance to the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal. In the 2019-2020 financial year, ISSA clients were awarded over $550,000 from VOCAT. The success of the program is a testament to the effective, client focused work of SMLS and SECASA.
