18.01.2022 Construction of 78 Campbell Street, Surry Hills is complete! A new build comprised of four levels of commercial offices, lobby and basement (with plant room) and ground floor restaurant. The finishes include off-form concrete in the lobby and staircase, Danish bricks for the faade and French Oak timber flooring. The project utilised a revolutionary @modwall_pty_ltd system, which allows for an efficient, economical construction. 16.01.2022 Concept images for the refurbishment works at 50 Riley Street, Darlinghurst for our client Barana Group Pty Ltd. The proposed development designed by Cullen Feng comprises a complete refurbishment of the existing basement levels through to Level 3 with an additional level 4 and new rooftop plant area. @smlxlprojects & @ttwengineers have been working closely in collaboration to design the major structural faade retention works required to support construction of the new concrete core throughout the building, as well as an added level. 14.01.2022 Its been a big month at our North Rocks Alfresco Project! The team commenced with the demolition of the existing Alfresco area, including removal of the internal planter box walls to allow for more seating space, then built the new planter wall in preparation for the structural steel installation. As soon as the galvanised steel was onsite, they worked around the clock to ensure the timber roof framework was installed for the measuring of the custom made Danpalon Roof Sheeting. Great work team, we cant wait to see how the next month progresses!

Last weekend we enjoyed some incredible tennis, delicious food and spent time hosting and better getting to know our clients and friends of SMLXL Projects. We all got behind the athletes at this amazing event and our tennis enthusiasts cheered on Sophia Kenin as she became the youngest Australian Open winner since Maria Sharapova in 2008, at just 21!
