23.01.2022 To all our valued patients, We are still booking appointments for all procedures whilst following all rules and regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In these uncertain times we have restrictions in place that we ask all our patients to comply with. The following restrictions are: No more than 2 patients in the waiting room waiting at one time, excluding families. ... Hand sanitising when entering the clinic as well as leaving. There are hand sanitation stations at both the front and rear access. Please remain behind the plastic shield at the reception desk. If you arrive early to your appointment you may be asked to wait in your car as the waiting room limit is reached. We are taking temperatures on arrival for all patients. If you have an upcoming appointment with our clinic and you answer ‘yes’ to any of the following, we ask that you contact our reception and reschedule your appointment to comply with COVID restrictions. Visited Melbourne in the past 14 days Any cold or flu symptoms or Have been in contact with someone suspected or confirmed of the virus. 17.01.2022 Meet our practicing Dentist, Dr Uno Makocha! Dr Uno Makocha graduated from the National University of Ireland (NUI) in Cork in 2009 obtaining her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S Hons.). Uno is a General Dentist registered with the AHPRA, a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). Uno has over 10 years clinical experience in both private and public practice having worked in Wagga Wagga, Wodonga and now ...in Albury. Uno enjoys all areas of general dentistry with the aim of providing quality dental care to all patients. Her warm smile along with her gentle and caring nature makes patients feel relaxed under her care. Outside dentistry, Uno enjoys travelling, sports, gardening and spending time with her family. Together with her husband Dr Eric Mokgweetsi, they have settled in Albury with their 3 beautiful children.

16.01.2022 On behalf of all the staff at Smollett Street Dental we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter Weekend. We will be closed from Friday 10th April and re-opening on Tuesday 14th April at 9:00am. Don’t let the COVID-19 pandemic stop you from protecting and looking after your teeth. We know everyone will have a cheeky chocolate or two over the weekend (including us), we still encourage everyone to brush their teeth for 2 minutes at least twice a day and floss in between teeth at least once a day.

16.01.2022 As the COVID-19 continues, Smollett Street Dental has changed our hours of operation. The following operating hours begin as of today and will continue through to the end of May. Monday 9am - 1pm Tuesday 9am - 5pm Wednesday 9am - 1pm... Thursday 9am - 5pm Friday CLOSED If any changes are to occur we will inform everyone as soon as possible. As the restrictions have changed we can now book appointments for any broken teeth or fillings. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us on 6041 1200 to speak to one of our lovely staff and they will happily answer any questions you have.



13.01.2022 We have wonderful news! The Dental Board of Australia has changed the restrictions back to Level 1. What does this mean you ask? It means that we can now see patients for any procedures including check-up and cleans. We will continue screening for COVID-19 and still encourage everyone to respect the COVID-19 restrictions such as:... Call and reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms. If you have been in contact with someone suspected or confirmed of having COVID-19, we ask that you follow the correct procedures in testing and reschedule your appointment accordingly. If you arrive more than 5 minutes early to your appointment to please stay in your car until your appointment. Call us today on (02) 6041 1200 to book an appointment.
