25.01.2022 A big welcome back to all our families to a New Year at SMOOSH. This week will be a very exciting time for many parents as their children are starting school for the very first time I know the Educators at SMOOSH are very excited to meet them all. We hope our new kindy children find SMOOSH a fun and exciting place where they can bulid friendship and gain a sense of belonging as they start SMOOSH for the new school year.

23.01.2022 Hi everyone , well we have one more day to go until our vacation care program comes to an end. I would like to thank our wonderful educators all of whom have stayed committed to ensuring that all children who have attended have been kept safe and engaged in activities aligned with our original program. I also want to thank those families that have kept their children enrolled at SMOOSH even though they have been absent. By doing so you have help SMOOSH to stay opened and b...e able to resume in term 2. We are looking forward to your children returning to SMOOSH once school start back and children begin to return. We will be opened on Monday the 27th & Tuesday 28th for Pupil Free Days that have been confirmed by MSPS. We are unsure regarding days Pupil free day for STJV at this point. 21.01.2022 This week at SMOOSH we held our annual Pink Cup Cake Fund raiser at Marayong South Pupil School. It was wonderful to see the great support from our SMOOSH families and all the school children. We raised $350.00 which will help to assist in future research into Breast Cancer and hopefully one day find a cure. Thank you to everyone who supported us this year..

19.01.2022 Hi to all our SMOOSH families it been a while since you have received a post from us here at SMOOSH. Unfortunately it has taken a devastating blow to our country to reunite us. We hope you and your families are all doing OK as we are doing our best to ensure the health and safety of everyone here. Unfortunately we had to cancel our Vacation Care Program which was very disappointing but the right decision . But we want you all to know that we are here until such ti...me we are required to close. We want to let you know that we are thinking of you all and will look forward to seeing you all back at SMOOSH once the Covid-19 Virus has been been BEATEN and we are opened our door again. In the mean time our educators are going to share with you some great ideas on games and activities to keep children busy and engaged. many of them we do here at SMOOSH. So keep a look out for further Posts............. Stay Safe and Stay positive as we will get though this .

19.01.2022 Well it has been a busy week so far as we get to meet all our new children . We now have 75 children attending afternoons the majority days. Our morning are also very busy with up to 30 children plus.So as you can image we are busy, busy busy which is wonderful. The Hall is a buzzzz with fun and laughter as children engage in activities and making new friends. Our educator's can not be more delighted with the how quickly the children are settling into SMOOSH. So thank you to all our parents for preparing your children so well for School and SMOOSH.

15.01.2022 Busy day today at SMOOSH as we prepare to farewell our year six children. We have had many of these young people since Kindergarten and we feel proud and privileged to have been a small part of their lives. We have watched them grow not only in size (some of which are taller than our educator) but also in confidence and maturity and ready for their new adventure of high school . We wish them all the very best for the future in schooling and life. We hope they remember SMOOSH with fondness as we will remember them as our SMOOSH Kids Good Luck Year Six.

15.01.2022 As everyone would know the SMOOSH garden is very much loved by the childen. Elena will lead the gardening team this year and has great plans for the garden area. We have recently given the garden a good clean out in preparation for winter vegetables. and the children a excited to start planting. After some conversation with the children about plants and ideas for the garden. I suggest painting the outsides of garden bed to Elena which she past on to the children . After consultation with the children that idea has know expanded to painting the outside of the office wall. (Yikks) So today I have sent of a request to Bunnings Seven Hills for Paint needed to undertake our children's masterpiece, You will find a plan of the children art work below. AAAAmazing

12.01.2022 Thank you to all the parents and children for all the donations provided to our giving tree. Your gifts were passed on to the Salvation Army at Blacktown. All the gifts were greatly appreciated with their staff sending a huge THANK YOU to the Families and Children of SMOOSH for their generosity.

11.01.2022 Our SMOOSH building has finally arrive, a huge thank you to BlueSkye Modular Building for getting the building on-sight safely. This would not of happened with out our AMAZING SMOOSH committee who have supported this project for a number of years, I also like to thank a our our school Principal Ms Walker for helping SMOOSH to achieve having our own space.

04.01.2022 SMOOSH is asking our families to make a donation to our Giving Tree. The Giving Tree has become a tradition at SMOOSH whereby we ask for donations of toys, tinned food, anything that may make another less fortunate family smile at Christmas time. All donation will be taken to the Salvation Army to be used in their hamper that are distributed at Christmas Christmas
