25.01.2022 2020 is the year of The Lion Division 1 PREMIERS. Commiserations to our Women’s Bs, Morphy Park were too strong today, congratulations to them. Very proud girls, we’ll get it in 2021.... Congratulations to Molly Althouse on winning Best on Ground. We had so much support there today. Juniors and Seniors everywhere, family, friends, past players, sponsors. Thank you everyone. Enjoy this win ladies, absolutely deserved and we’ll then get around our Men’s bs & cs in their prelims next week. 17.01.2022 The SMOSH WL Women's Football Club are pleased to announce Ashlee Bridge as our Division 1 Reserves coach for 2021. Ash has assisted in coaching across our U18s and D1R sides in 2020 and has made a positive contribution already. She comes with a wealth of sporting experience, having represented the state in both basketball and football. She has played over 150 games in the women's league and won multiple premierships with the Eagles, Edwardstown and in the inaugural West Adelaide women's side. The Den look forward to another successful year of women's football with Ash on board. #UpTheDen

01.01.2022 We are pleased to announce the re-appointment of Port Adelaide legend, AFL Hall of Famer and SMOSH WL Women’s 2020 Premiership coach, Greg Phillips, as our A Grade Senior Women’s coach for the 2021 season. Greg beamed with pride as he spoke at the recent Women’s presentation day. He recalled his daughter Erin Phillip’s experience at the club with great fondness and emotion, telling the girls how proud he and Erin are of the girls to have the ultimate success of winning a D1 Women’s premiership at a club Erin played her junior years at with the boys. Greg looks forward to building an even stronger culture of success and comradery at The Den in 2021 and is a huge advocate for the development of Women’s football.
