14.01.2022 We celebrated the beginning of Advent with a whole school Liturgy that was presented by the Pre-Primary children. Advent is a time of expectation and hope. Advent means arrival or coming, of the birth of Christ. Advent candles shine brightly in the midst of darkness, symbolizing and reminding us that Jesus came as Light into our world. The first was lit and this candle symbolizes hope and is called the "Prophet’s Candle." The purple color symbolizes royalty, repentance, and fasting.

Well done to Miss Anderson and all the parent helpers and staff who came together for a beautiful liturgy and celebration on Thursday night (12th November) followed by a Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday 15th November. 03.01.2022 In Semester 1, the year 10 Art students developed a picture book using a character from a children's book. Each frame in the story needed to have the character and a logo present in it. The students choose five different media to use for their pieces. Students decided how they would display their work in a public gallery outside the school library and then they created a digital copy of their story. To view the picture books, please visit the link below. You will then need to click on the individual link to each student's FlipBook. https://www.smsc.wa.edu.au/correspondence.html
