Duties:- * Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of production in the factory * Assess and analyze current production methods * Develop and draft an improved production process * Design and implement cost-reductive changes * Maximize productivity of equipment and workers * Develop organisational strategy to achieve financial objectives * Follow product specifications and quality control measures * Determine which machines, tools, equipment, etc. will be used and where they will be stationed in the facility * Establish and enforce safety procedures & environmental regulations for Employees * Develop best practises * Assist in the budget preparation * Be involved in the selection and management of current and future employees * Increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality * Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently * Completely re organise the workshop and cages, developing a system whereby products and projects can be easily located * Follow and adhere to all state, federal and company enforced safety rules and regulations The right person:- * Familiarity with CAD software * Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access) * 5+ years proven experience in production/industrial engineering; managerial experience a plus * Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written * Ability to effectively and positively lead and direct employees * You will be Analytically minded, able to put together and deliver analysis *Detail-oriented and extremely efficient * Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships * Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master’s degree preferred but not essential In return, you will have the opportunity of working for a company owner who truly values his employees and totally understands what loyalty is.
