22.01.2022 Large Carpet Python soaking up the sun on this chilly winters day. Remember in our area snakes don’t actually hibernate because our winters don’t get cold enough. You will see them less but they are still around so always keep an eye out! I didn’t have my protective snake gear on only because I knew the snake I was going to catch was non-venomous.

21.01.2022 This massive Carpet Python was thicker than my arm. It was really strong and quite heavy!

17.01.2022 Little Eastern brown. Usually they take off straight away but this guy was enjoying the safety of the snake bag.

09.01.2022 Small Keelback. An interesting thing about them is they are the only snakes that can eat toads without being affected by its poison.

08.01.2022 Little Common Tree Snake

08.01.2022 This cute little fella from a distance looks like a snake, but it’s actually a legless lizard. Although they are called legless a lot of species have small little arms on the side of its body.

08.01.2022 This large Lace Monitor was trying to make lunch of fully grown chooks! Luckily for the chooks it was noticed before it could cause any injuries. Was safely relocated.
