25.01.2022 OK, just to pop a bubble of lies doing the tabloids in the last 24 hours, it has been claimed I have not been doing snake catching for Coles! We can call Buuullshit on that one (see image)! They deal with the Melbourne Snake Catcher because they know we are the best at what we do! AUSTRALIAS BEST REPTILES to be exact!
25.01.2022 For those who ask why it takes forever to publish scientific papers ... including some upcoming WTF ones - here is your answer .... too many distractions. https://www.facebook.com/22265760886/videos/3394137170653831/

25.01.2022 Note to all - correcting some tabloid lies this week. 1/ This week we have NOT recklessly endangered lives and 2/ Charges of breaching wildlife license with Snakeman forcing devenomized Taipan, etc to bite daughter DID NOT result in any findings against me, in any way, or convictions or fines. In fact charges were laid over the incident several times (itself an illegal act) and all were thrown out of court and Snakeman was exonerated and praised by all relevant judges for doi...ng the right thing. See extract from VCAT judgement on government webpage from 2015. VCAT 2015. It was suggested on behalf of the respondent that there was a possibility of the applicants venomoid snakes could regenerate their venom glands. No scientific evidence to substantiate this was produced and against the proposition is the applicants evidence that this has not occurred. I cannot be satisfied that the possibility exists. 12. I conclude that the applicants venemoid snakes are not venomous. 13. Clearly, if one looks at the requirement to use a pit, it is for the purpose of protecting members of the public from the danger of envenomation. I am satisfied that the danger does not exist where any venemoid and non-venomous snakes are used in a demonstration by the applicant. 24.01.2022 The World's best Snowboarder is Snakeman! So says Scotty James, formerly world no. 1.

23.01.2022 Yes it is on, Copperheads firing like our magnificent reds seen here mating! Copperheads out and about this week. Do not pick them up like seen here .... a bite may kill you, and it is illegal under state law to touch a wild reptile (not my choice of rules). Snake Catcher is getting calls every day, including cold miserable days like Monday. Beware the fakers taking out Google adverts using our registered trademarks as a trigger for their illegal adverts. They steal from... us and will steal from you if they come to your place. We have had calls from a few victims of the scammers last week and expect more in coming weeks. Learn more at: https://www.reptileparty.com.au/Reptile-Party-Scam-Warning- See more
22.01.2022 Always a good time to drop a pic of an awesome Western Diamondbacked Rattlesnake - AKA HOSEREA ATROX especially when the Snakeman picked it up off a road in the middle of nowhere a few years back.

21.01.2022 Most calls to relocate deadly Tiger Snakes like this one for the Melbourne Snake Catcher so far this season. Warm weather brought them out. Do not copy what... you see here. 1/ It is against the law unless licensed to handle extremely venomous snakes and 2/ Of lesser importance is that you will die trying to imitate the Snake Man. 19.01.2022 Yes it is true, the Suwannee River Alligator Snapper was a species discovered and named by Snakeman Raymond Hoser. See: Hoser, R. T. 2013. An updated taxonomy of the living Alligator Snapping Turtles (Macrochelys Gray, 1856), with descriptions of a new tribe, new species and new subspecies. Australasian Journal of Herpetology 16:53-63.... Published 29 April 2013. Full text at: http://www.smuggled.com/issue-16-53-63.pdf The name M. Suwanneensis Thomas et al. 2014, is an illegally coined junior synomym for the same species Macrochelys Maxhoseri Hoser, 2013 and so the more recent name should never be used. See more
18.01.2022 Correction of misinformation on Facebook and tabloid media Note to our clients and other interested persons. News reports tonight of Snakeman Raymond Hoser, the licensed Snake Catcher of Melbourne planting a venomous snake at a servo and supposedly engaging in reckless conduct is complete and utter buuuullshit! 17.01.2022 Still aiming for an 8 Oct laying. One seriously knocked up Australian Green Python Chondropython shireenae Hoser, 2003. Also worlds first AI Chondropythons ever (assuming all goes OK). 16.01.2022 Spring snake orgy here, pairing ups and breedings, offered male Black headed Python to cow Black Headed Python and all she wanted to do was EAT HIM! Third one here (another male) will eat any other snake he comes near .... so hes not allowed near the cow .... OK, we can simply do AI, but how snakes cope in the bush I often wonder .... 12.01.2022 This one is for all the evil animal abusers who want to see Australias foremost wildlife conservation icon shoved in jail. Wells, wells, wells, Snakeman is a regular there getting Tiger Snakes out of the place as he leads team snake catchers in keeping Victoria safe. Snakeman goes to jail as a welcome visitor and not for crimes dreamt up by morons and a few idiot journalists with tabloids. For many years Snakeman alone kept the jails of Vic safe, but now several others share the load.

11.01.2022 Spotted in Coles Express Servo Nunawading today. Yes deadly tiger snakes like this ripper specimen have been hitching rides in cars and turning up in weird places this week. Lucky the Melbourne snake catcher, Raymond Hoser (AKA Snakeman) was on the job and keeping people safe! Also this week, snakes in a wall cavity in a big Melbourne Uni in a large building (still there when last checked .), Copperheads all over the place, including in some pallets from who knows where. A ...tree snake hitching a ride down from Queensland, turned up in east Bentleigh (remember the scientific name for that one is Charlepiersonserpens punctulatus), a massive Brown Snake, a Copperhead and a Tiger snake all in Warrandyte at the same time! More snakes in Diamond Creek, Sunshine North (again), Hillside (quite a few), etc. For the best information on how to stay snake safe this spring see http://www.snakebusters.com.au/sbsmel1.htm See more
11.01.2022 Snake Catcher .... Snakes everywhere .... sun is out and so are the snakes. DO NOT COPY THIS AT HOME ... Only the Snake Catcher , Raymond Hoser can hold 10 deadly Tiger snakes in his bare hands and have the photo to prove it. The point here is that with a little common sense, snakes will not bite you ... they actually avoid it! Stay snake safe and for accurate advice, stay here and avoid the fake experts on Facebook and elsewhere. https://www.facebook.com/snakemanraymondhoser
11.01.2022 Snakeman has been called to get snake out from under seat of car in Edgewood Avenue, Burwood - While I am not about to break the law, I will be posting a photo of this exact snake and not a ring in here shortly!
10.01.2022 Not all doom and gloom in Chondro land ..... two eggs still not written off .....
09.01.2022 "Snake" retrieved from a BMW in Burwood today. Actually I left it there .... it was a cable driving the seat adjustment. Not the first time the Snake Catcher has had one of these sorts of things and will not be the last. Had two "mating" rubber snakes recently as well. They are great for business and spread about by birds. This is why unlike unscrupulous imitators and trademark infringing thieves we ask people to send us a photo of the snake before we come out. In this... case the people were "too scared" and so I came out. PS This photo is not of a substitute car that has been hotted up (like our Australias best reptiles ) but BMWs are an OK brand anyway. PS We have not breached the strictly enforced (on us anyway) DELWP directive to post images of wildlife we catch under their licenses. 09.01.2022 OK, some bad breeding news here . After an incubator spike, now diagnosed as being caused by a fan that died (at bottom left), killing one clutch of eggs (with a high degree of certainty of cause of death), something that has never happened here previously in about 15 years of using fans in fridges to incubate eggs, next in line to drop has been a serial bad performer, in a Carpet Python, with 24, eggs dropped on schedule tonight of which 18 were slugs and 6 looked OK, but t...hree candled as blanks (we had that last year for the only three good ones she laid of 17) and the three remaining normal eggs look like crap as well as in the insides do not look good, so provisionally writing them off as well. Pissed off mightily as this week I doubled the number of fans in the incubator used to bring it into line with later models we have had sitting on the shelf (also meaning a dead fan will not kill the eggs - or shouldn't) and with three powered up and ready, the plan had been to split eggs three ways (in lots of about 6) to avoid another potential mishap (or to spread the risk). A Murray Darling Carpet died of old age today, but that was not seen as sad, as the snake had a very good run and was in fact dodgy from birth. Yes all collections have deaths and we are not immune from this either. Another Murray Darling Carpet Snake is on watch for being gravid, with a definite answer due in about 2 weeks and her prior form is good. 2020 has shaped up as the worst year ever for python breeding here (based on attempts and results) and unless we pull an unlikely breeding of whites or mutants (neither expected), is likely to remain so. Any pythons bred here this season will be held for our Reptile Parties unless we unexpectedly overbreed. Same can be expected (hold all pythons) for breedings next season as well. http://www.reptileparties.com.au See more

08.01.2022 Yes, we got the registered trademark "Australia's BEST reptiles" a decade back, because quite simply we were deemed the best. Beware of unsafe imitators claiming to be the best. They are not! Some are illegally using our registered trademarks in breach of court orders and relying on Covid-19 as an excuse to escape prosecution. They are putting people's lives at risk. See here for details: https://www.reptileparty.com.au/Reptile-Party-Scam-Warning-

07.01.2022 Scammer warning. Inexperienced imitators are pretending to be us online. And yes, only we are allowed to say we are the best as 1/ We proved it in court a few years back and 2/ We own the registered trademarks and 3/ We have multiple court orders against unsafe imitators restraining them from using the trademark .... which they operate in breach of. http://www.reptileparty.com.au/australias-best-reptiles-are

06.01.2022 More babies/eggs possible here including two Bluetongues (will give away all babies born - we have too many here already) and yet another Carpet Snake. Bluetongues may be overweight but not likely and Carpet snake same and if knocked up will know better in 10 days with a due egg laying date of X-mas day, with all babies probably held over for our multi-award winning hands on reptile shows. http://www.snakebusters.com.au

05.01.2022 Naidoc week 2020. A frog species was named Kumanjayiwalkerus kumanjayi in honour of Kumanjayi Walker a 19 year old Aboriginal (Black) Australian who was unlawfully shot and killed by a police officer in 2019. Hoser wrote: The species Kumanjayiwalkerus kumanjayi sp. nov. is named in honour Kumanjayi Walker, another indigenous Australian victim of an execution by a racist white Australian police officer in the Northern Territory (NT), being one of over 400 such victims in Aust...ralia since 1990. The 19 year old was shot and killed by NT Police Officer Zachary Rolfe in November 2019. Hoser also wrote: The world is full of memorials and species named in honour mass murderers, thieves and despots and it is appropriate that victims of these people should also be honoured occasionally. The paper was published in hard copy on Friday 5 June and following publication of this paper, a number of people have heeded Hoser’s words and toppled statues of racists and murderers and thrown them into rivers and lakes. http://www.smuggled.com/Newly-discovered-species-of-frog-na See more

01.01.2022 OK, we do not as a rule give animal abusing haters something to laugh about at our expense, but when you run the worlds leading captive breeding facility for reptiles, not everything goes to plan ..... Today as Snakeman cleaned out a Red-bellied Black Snake Cage, the male jizzed all over the hand and it was high grade stuff. Not letting it go to waste a capillary tube was grabbed and the semen was sucked in so that it could be shoved into a fertile female. Problem was Snakeman sucked too hard a load went into right up the tube and into the mouth - Yuk! (But yesterdays efforts with other snakes were all fine well post photos of said snakes in due course) Learn more at http://www.smuggled.com/AIS2.htm
01.01.2022 CAT EATER CAUGHT .... A half grown DIAMOND PYTHON, has been retrieved from a home in inner Melbourne overnight by the Melbourne Snake Catcher Raymond Hoser. Diamond Pythons are a spectacular snake (see photo here - which may be freely shared as is) that may grow to in excess of 10 feet (3 metres) and are known to eat dogs and cats! They thrive when escaped into the suburbs, living in house roofs (where it is warm) and eating rats. This is a real life example of the fabled ...Crocs thriving in New York sewers. This is the first so-called CAT EATER caught by Raymond Hoser this snake season, but about ten a year are retrieved by the Snake Catcher each year in Melbourne, with most being escaped pets. Some of these have been legally held, others part of the illegal wildlife trafficking trade, and a few come into the city via goods shipped in from elsewhere, (including for example the venomous Chinese Tree Viper (not a cat eater) caught by the Snake Catcher not long ago). It anyone has lost their pet (cat? or snake), contact the Snakeman or DEWLP, with proof of ownership. Learn more at http://www.snakebusters.com.au/sbsmel1.htm See more
