25.01.2022 As Australia opens up again and we see less and less virus we are pleased to have courses up and running again. At all courses while indoors you will be required to wear a mask, don’t worry, we supply them. Our 4ply masks are washable, use it one day, hand wash it in warm soapy water and dry it ready to use again! We thank you for your understanding.

24.01.2022 Sean loves his coffee, and for a while had one of the pod machines, but decided, although the pods were recyclable they did create a great deal of plastic waste. 23.01.2022 What a disgrace in Queensland.....a man gets taken on a surf beach by a White Pointer, so the fisheries department are killing Tiger Sharks?!?!?!? That like saying a man killed someone so we will hunt down his "relatives and kill them" until we find the right one.......total disgrace. Animals in nature are doing what they are designed to do, there is no need to hunt down wildlife just because a human life has been taken.....you put yourself in that position, you accept there are risks......and yes I (Sean) am a SCUBA diver, snorkelling instructor and love swimming in the open water, I accept the risks of being in their environment, just like I accept the risks when I relocate snakes from peoples homes.....note these snake are relocated not killed because we know the important role animals play in our delicate ecosystems.

21.01.2022 It’s with a heavy heart we must postpone interstate courses again. So with the ways things have gone we will not be offering Interstate training until October 2020. We will still be running courses in Victoria and the on-line sales will continue.

19.01.2022 Victoria has entered Stage 4 lockdowns now, at Snakehandler we have been greatly impacted by this pandemic, but we know that by doing the right thing we will get through. We have to be smart about what we do, don't wait for someone to tell you, do it yourself, stay home if you can, wear a mask when out and about, if you get sick, get tested. We are still selling our products online and we are still running online training, with a new training program to start soon in Reptile Husbandry. Stay safe Australia, we need to help each other to get through this.

15.01.2022 Australia needs to remember that there are more animals here than just the cute and cuddly Koala! Reptiles are an important part of a functional ecosystem, we need to preserve all our wildlife.

13.01.2022 With Christmas just around the corner, these new products have arrived just in time

13.01.2022 Well today is the day we find out if our trainers can travel from Victoria to Queensland, with recent spikes in parts of Melbourne we are very nervous. To be honest while we hope it’s full steam ahead, we are also realistic. So what happens if you’ve booked in for interstate training?? Well as happened at the start of the lockdown, if we are not able to travel we will simply reset dates and try again. Your place is secure, you will be given a months notice at least to book i...nto new dates if required. So please don’t stress, your ongoing support has been invaluable. While Snakehandler do receive JobKeeper payments for our staff this does not cover the costs of keeping the animals going! Luckily we have wonderful customers who have kept on purchasing, this means we are still able to service the animals, pay the bills and provide the same high quality equipment. Thank you for all of your support.
