16.01.2022 Welcome back snappers, the wait is over, gyms are finally open! As we have all spent some time away from the gyms throughout lockdown, it’s important to remember our bodies need time to adapt back to the high training intensities we once were doing. It’s important to ease back into training with a lower intensity to make sure we are not injuring ourselves or ending up with 5 days of DOMS, ouch!... Some recommendations for returning to the gym are: 1. Start with half of the initial volume* you were doing pre lockdown, this will hell the body adapt to the training stimulus and give you an indicator of strength levels. 2. Have a plan of attack when coming into the gym. Write down what your session will consist of (exercise x load x reps x sets)* and follow this for ~4-6 weeks, this will help with progress and prevent yourself from doing any unnecessary volume. 3. Plan your meals before and after training which include high protein and moderate- high carbohydrates to make sure you are fuelled for your training sessions and to assist with recovery post workout. 08.01.2022 Hello Snappers, Exciting news, we are thrilled to be re-opening our doors on 9th November at 530am Please read below for all information regarding your membership, gym access and club restrictions to ensure everyone is doing their bit to stay safe while exercising. ... This information may change and be updated frequently as the VIC government releases more information or as restrictions ease. To stay fully up to date please keep an eye on our social media channels and on our website. Facebook, Instagram, Website Snap Fitness Covid Safe Rules 20 people in club at any one time (until further notice). Operating Hours till restrictions are eased and we can go back to 24/7 Extended staffed hours Members must swipe their access cards for contact tracing purposes Must use a towel to use as a barrier on all equipment A face mask is recommended but not mandatory if exercising vigorously Must sanitise on entry and exit Must clean equipment before and after use with allocated spray bottles. 20 bottles for 20 member capacity. Must maintain 1.5m social distancing from one another. Operating Hours Monday Thursday 530am 9pm Friday 530am 6pm Saturday 8am - 1pm Sunday 9am - 1pm Note: The club is not operating 24/7 during this stage of restrictions, so we will be staffed during the above hours to educate all members on our club covid safe rules and monitor attendance during peak times. We ask politely, but firmly, that you follow these rules so that we can remain open for our members. Membership Billing All members billing will recommence as per your normal billing cycle.
