18.01.2022 With the reassuring sight of rain falling all over the state, we now have a chance to relax and spend some time with our families. It also gives us the opportun...ity to thank all of those who have helped us throughout the Green Wattle Creek and Morton fires. To all the locals - Bron, Wendy, and their army of helpers who organised our station for weeks; cleaning, restocking, and trying to restore some order. All those that donated food, drinks, and various items throughout the campaign, and those that baked us cakes, slices, cooked us dinner, and everything in between. To our local businesses - Snax on Trax Cafe who set up at the station as soon as the roads re-opened, making hundreds of coffees at all hours of the day and night at no charge, Wingello Village Store who supported us however they could, and Potter's Pantry Bundanoon who also provided complimentary coffees for the entirety of the campaign. Our inactive members who made sure the station and trucks were always operational and kept the station running whilst we were on the trucks, and most importantly, the wives, husbands, partners, and families of all our members - we could not do this without your support. There are so many people who have assisted that we cannot possibly name them all, but we are incredibly thankful for everything you have all done.
