15.01.2022 I love this mindful creative exploration from the ever wonderful Keri Smith (influenced by John Burroughs) 'Sit in one spot for at least 30 minutes. Preferably in nature, or with a view of nature (window). Document everything you can see in that time. Include movement, sounds, quality of light, smells, changes. Become a detective. Can you see something you hadn’t noticed when you started? "Power of attention and a mind sensitive to outward objects, in these lies the secret of seeing things. The KC team making beautiful collaborative art in the sunshine outside #sussexneighbourhoodhouse at it's original location on Sussex St. I miss collaborating with our young artists and I miss the sunshine It won't be too long until we meet again and when we do, it will be extra special. (Well, sort of) Introducing KIDS CONNECT, our new online creative and social program helping kids build resilience, connect with others and most importantly have fun! Join us Monday afternoons for art making, games and lots of laughs. Ages 9 to 12 years. $75 for 8 sessions. 5th October - 30th November (no class Mon 2nd Nov)...
