T...his is great self-care for people who spend a lot of time working with their hands, typing, etc. Some basic stretching concepts that can be used in some of these positions: 1) Gently and slowly pulse in and out of the stretch position 2) Hold a gentle static stretch in the final position 3) Apply the contract-relax (PNF) technique The closer your hands are to your knees, the less intense these stretches will be, so start with your hands in close and only move your hands further away as required.
