25.01.2022 Blackwood tree, Acacia melanoxylon, one of the longer living wattles because it is less prone to borer insects as long as it gets some water in extreme heat. In Vic and tassie these fellas grow nice and tall. Im currently searching our region to see if we can get them as tall, but i can so far only think of ones a couple of metres tall. If they do grow big here they make a good farm tree for profit, not only a good shade and timber tree but you can harvest these edible seeds!!

15.01.2022 Hardy and tough, you cant go wrong with a Tee tree, Leptospermum species. One of few natives that can hadle hard pruning, so if it ever get leggy and long branched and untidy just give it a good prune.

02.01.2022 This tiny little fella (3mm long max.) Is hunting on this tray. Its so small it was surfing on the water. Then it grabed a tiny fly even smaller then itself. Very pretty and it wiggled its abdomen when i put my finger near it
