22.01.2022 CHARLOTTE PASS SNOW RESORT ANNOUNCES GUTHRIES CHAIRLIFT Charlotte Pass Snow Resort has today signed a contract with Doppelmayr Australia for the purchase and in...stallation of a chairlift to Mt Guthrie at Charlotte Pass. The chairlift will replace the existing Guthries High Speed Poma, increasing lifting capacity to this area of the resort by more than 100%. Charlotte Pass has had lifts in the Mt Guthrie area of the resort for close on 60 years. Kevin Blyton, Chairman of Charlotte Pass Snow Resort said This chairlift represents a significant investment by the Blyton Group and is another key component of our 10-year Masterplan which is currently underway. I am very pleased that the contract has gone to a local Snowy Mountains company, just like us. Lachlan Maclean, General Manager of Charlotte Pass Snow Resort said, the chairlift to Mt. Guthrie is an exciting development for the resort, with the area providing some of the best skiing and boarding in the Snowy Mountains, as well as spectacular views of the Main Range. Shaun Turner, General Manager of Doppelmayr Australia said I’m pleased that Doppelmayr has been awarded the contract and look forward to working with the Charlotte Pass team to install this chair at Australia’s highest snow resort. Work will now commence on the relevant regulatory approvals, with the lift anticipated to be operational for the 2022 snow season.

07.01.2022 As we announced earlier in the month, Snowbird is opening for summer. It’s been too long since the lodge has been graced with guests in this beautiful season. So we hope you’ll join us. Things will be a little different to winter and we don’t just mean it’s a bit warmer! If you wish to stay with us our rates will be per room, not per person as we usually do. ... The nightly rates are as follows: Twin or double room: Members: $60 Non members: $80 Family or bunk room: Members: $80 Non members: $100 If you wish to bring a large group of friends and have the lodge to yourself, we are happy to create a catered or non-catered package for you. As we now have the lovely kitchen upstairs breakfast, lunch & dinner can be self catered, with the option of catered dinners. Catered dinners will be as below: Two courses (Main + Dessert): $40pp Three courses: $50pp Children: $20pp Once again if you are a large group, through consultation we can create a package suitable for you. The rooms will be cleaned for your arrival, with check in at 3pm. We will provide all linen to save you the hassle. It will be a two night minimum stay, with check out at 10am. The Snowies in summer really are a stunning part of Australia. Don’t miss the chance to escape the frantic pace of life for the tranquil serenity of Charlotte Pass.
