23.01.2022 #hennanails! I wanted the brown to be transparent, like henna that’s in the process of fading, so I watered down brown acrylic paint. I also used Mitty. thin brush in 11mm to do the designs. Loved this on a nude base, which is Mecca Maxima in Skinny Dip.

20.01.2022 I absolutely adore this shade from @barrymcosmetics_australia. This is Cardamom, just two even coats. I used acrylic Pain to create some cute flowers. Then finished with Seche Vite. Thanks to @beautynextaustralia for this gorgeous shade! #prsample

20.01.2022 I love the rough metal look, so this is perfection. I’m wearing @mitty_burns in Shattered Sands, a metallic champagne gold flake. I used @emilydemolly’s Sticky Base Coat to easily fuse them to the nail. And two coats of a shiny top coat to seal. Ready to rock!

18.01.2022 How adorable are these!! I used a heap of @mitty_burns gel products to create these confetti nails, including Gel Podz. The shades I used are pastel purple, red, light green, black and white to make the dots. So easy to use with a dotting tool as the gel isn’t stringy at all and doesn’t drag. 13.01.2022 Finally my hectic lifestyle has calmed down (just a little bit anyway) and I had time to do a bit of nail art. I’ve been binge watching a lot of Project Runway and got inspired by the brightness of @margaritaalvarezofficial’s final collection. Something about it made me so happy! 12.01.2022 I’ve been wearing these gorgeous gels for about 4 days now! I used a black gels base and with the magic of @mitty_burns Gel Podz in Pure White, was able to perfect some marble details. I have a few more colours from this line, can’t wait to show you the others (oh and the lush charms like this perfect crescent moon and an awesome mini portable gel lamp!!)

10.01.2022 Something bright and bold! This is @ulta3 in Blue Marlin, 2 coats. I also used @cupcakepolish to make a glitter gradient on the tips. Should I keep my short nail or grow them longer again? I can never decide!

05.01.2022 I’m sure many of you have heard about the terrible situation in Australia. The current bushfires is the biggest natural devastation the country has faced. Millions of animals have been burnt alive in their habitat and thousands of homes lost. Many have died, including unpaid firefighters. Prior to this, the Australian government cut funding to fire services, which has not been restored, and the Prime Minister has shown incredible disrespect to the situation. I am so proud of... @celestebarber posting about this, she has done more for our country than our government has done since the fires started. She has started raising funds for the NSW Rural Fire Brigade and at the moment it is just over $6.5 million Australian Dollars. 02.01.2022 I haven’t done any nail art in a while, so this felt really nice to do I’ve been pretty vacant from the nail art community over the past few months, but there’s a lot that’s been going on. Mainly, I had to quit a job that I loved because of bullying I was receiving from a new boss. We were part of a small team so I had nowhere to turn to, and when I could, it made it worse. It’s actually really affected me, and I’ve had a really hard time moving on. Especially since I acce...pted another role where I had to take a step backwards. I’m still dealing with a lot of anger over it. Because of the situation, I’ve had to start seeing a psychologist, as well as trying new medication (that didn’t work and I had to go back on my original meds, so that was a huge transition in itself). The only positive thing to come out of this is that I’m studying now and on my way to finishing a Diploma. There is no way I would have been able to do this if I was still at the job where I was getting bullied. My husband, family and close friends have really helped me out going through these hard times. Luckily the current health pandemic hasn’t affected my life at all, so I’m lucky there. I’m not sure what direction I’ll be taking, this is also in regards to my polish brand @bettiepainpolish. My mood has been so low, and as a result I’m incredibly uninspired to create. So I’ll need to make a decision as to it’s future sometime soon. In the meantime, I am still here. Just taking some time away
