24.01.2022 Well the day has finally come... tomorrow we are open at Mt Hotham. The new toboggan slope is getting its final finishing touches on it today... It's different from the usual one, we are in different times. Please follow supervisor instructions to ensure a COVID safe environment and of course keep 1.5m away from each other.... 17.01.2022 So, last night Vail made the heartbreaking decision to close the lifts at Hotham and also Falls Creek. Whilst speculation is rife, the fact of the matter is that a lot of people lost their jobs yesterday and the flow on effect to all other small businesses such as this one is one of devestation. We actually did not get a chance to open this year. What does all this mean? In the next few days we will be talking to the Resort to see if it is viable to open so we can try to support you and all the other small business at Hotham. 10.01.2022 SnowStuffPark is proud to announce Sunset Summit tours kicking off 1/8/2020. Meet opposite Zirkys, base of summit 4.30pm includes 1 beer free (soft drinks for kids) and then drinks at bar prices. $40 per head based on 4 people. Powered by Blizzard Beer. Maximum 5 tours per night re restrictions. First tour starts 4.30 and we will pickup in 10 minute increments for more than one tour. We also have 15 min day summit tours $90 up to 4 people (day time) 10.30am onwards till 3....30pm 12 hours notice needed. Both tours are spectator tours and boards/ski's can't be taken unfortunately as part of the conditions of operation. Free day entry can be organised at time of booking. 08.01.2022 A good friend of ours Steve Lee suffered a debilitating stroke a short time ago. His support tribe is on the hunt for $$$ to support Steve a former olympian for Aus. He's up at Wangaratta Hospital and and is more than likely going to require care for the rest of his life. Our memories of Steve include straight lining down My McKay at Falls Creek when Steve had the snowmobile tours. Adrenaline pumping, you would never get away with it now, but back in the day it was the bomb. 04.01.2022 Please note as of 26th July, SnowStuffPark at Wireplain will suspend operations. Unfortunately due to lack of snow we are unable to run our back country tours from Wireplain. Coupled with everyone bringing their own toboggans we can't sustain operations with zero revenue for weeks on end. However it's not all bad news, we are in final negotiations for a new location for our back country sled tours that we hope to release early next week with an enhanced sunset tour offering.... The wireplain location will be assessed when there is more snow and hopefully some restrictions ease in the future and people start spending a little at Mt Hotham. 03.01.2022 A season update folks, we were planning to open on the 1st of July, but due to lack of snow it looks like a remote chance. We are just as disappointed as all of you. As an ethical operator we will refund on request for all those that have prebooked. We are seeing some snow this weekend but not enough... We will touch base Monday to reassess our season.
