10.01.2022 Traces of COVID-19 have been found in sewage at the Perisher treatment plant. While there are no active cases at Thredbo or Perisher, any visitors to those area...s who've had symptoms are being told to get a COVID-19 test. The samples were collected on July 22. It's unclear exactly what the positive result means, as it may have been a positive case 'shedding' the virus weeks later, according to NSW Health. NSW has recorded 18 new cases in the last 24 hours.
