25.01.2022 Just an update for our customers in regards to booking dinner. We have had a few people call to book, and then not show up! This not only has financial implications for the business at this time, but you are also stopping other customers from being able to come in! As you would all know we have limited numbers and sitting times. Going forward, when booking we will call you on the morning of your sitting and if we don’t hear back from you within a few hours, the booking will... be cancelled and available for someone else! We look forward to seeing you all soon

23.01.2022 NOW MORE THAN EVER WE NEED YOUR HELP.. Due to tonight’s government decision in regards to covid-19, as of lunch time tomorrow our premises will be closed. BUT OUR BOTTLESHOP WILL STILL REMAIN OPEN, and we need your help to stay afloat after this passes. I know a lot of our fellow publicans are in the same boat, so instead of buying your alcohol from a large chain with the backing of a major supermarket behind it, SHOP LOCAL! Let’s work together to ensure when this is over,... our locals still have jobs and you still have your local pub around for your beer! We want nothing more than to make sure our staff have jobs at the end of this so PLEASE SHOP LOCAL. Come by our bottleshop, we can do drive through if you wish! We will advise ASAP if we are still aloud to trade take away meal services. Thank you to everyone for your continued support, it means to much to us!

We understand that it is a scary time for us all, but please continue to support your local businesses, this insures that long after this crisis is gone we will still be here! We are following all government guidelines, so please come in for a beer ( at a distance ) or a meal, or if you prefer, give us a call and grab a take away! Our bottle shop is still open too.

17.01.2022 Good evening everyone. We have had a few people ask when the tavern will be open again with the easing of some government restrictions. From next Monday at 11 am our bar will be open for a MAXIMUM OF 20 PEOPLE. You MUST be seated and table service will be offered for your beverages/ food. If the venue is at capacity you may be asked to leave and come back later. ... Our restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner but a booking Are ESSENTIAL, as we can only have 20 people. This will be offered in 2 sittings at 5.30 and 7pm. All patrons are advised to follow social distancing rules, and we would expect you would do this! The last thing we want is to open and be shut again, because we aren’t abiding to government guidelines. The gaming component of the venue will remain closed until further notice! We appreciate your ongoing support and can’t wait to see you all next week.

16.01.2022 As our restaurant is back up and running we will no longer be offering the take away menu we had in lockdown! We can accomodate take away meals from our normal hotel menu, as we did before, excluding steak.

16.01.2022 To all our valued customers, as we are a small family business, your patronage is very important to us, as is the health and safety for all our customers! Please be assured that our premises are cleaned daily, we have sanitising stations throughout the building, our gaming machines are cleaned after each patron and surfaces disinfected! Our kitchen already runs with strict hygiene in mind, but we will be taking extra precautions to ensure that we are on top of this. Our restaurant is still running as normal, Alternatively if you would like to order meals take away, we can arrange this and bring them to your car, so you don’t have to get out if you would rather. Stay safe, healthy and we look forward to seeing you in the tavern!

14.01.2022 Further to our post last night about our bottleshop staying open #supportlocal From tomorrow we will be implementing a take away service for dinner in the evening, for as long as this is sustainable! We will change our menu to make it take away friendly, and will look at a local delivery service if demand permits.... This may not be a long term solution, and may change on a day to day basis! So order a parmi and drive through and get your beer at the same time! Social distancing at its best!! We know a lot of our fellow publicans have it worse than us, and we are grateful to be able to still offer these services to you, so let’s band together and help one another!

10.01.2022 Just wanted to touch base and let our customers know, although it isn’t viable for us to open the restaurant just yet, due to the 10 people maximum! We are still offering take aways. 03.01.2022 Thank you so much to our community for your support with our takeaways, it is so appreciated and we have been really busy doing them. As you can understand many local businesses are doing the same, so the demand for take away containers to put them in, is very high! We are working on a solution, but they will continue for this evening and for as long as our supply permits. Until we can source some more! We will keep you updated!
