22.01.2022 Its been almost a year and my cotton dishcloths are still going strong, despite being washed about 50 times each! Did you know that your standard man-made kitchen sponge can take up to 52,000 years to decompse in landfill? And even the plant based 'cellulose' varieties are often coated in a pesticide to give them antibacterial properties, which is wreaking havoc with our aquatic eco-systems. I was going through at least a sponge a week (there are lots of spills with a messy ...toddler in the house) so I am very pleased to have come up with a greener alternative. Even making small changes can make a difference! 17.01.2022 Only a couple of days late - Top 9 2020! Once again, I have been overwhelmed with the support of my little hobby business - crochet is so many things for me. A hobby, yes. But also relaxation and mindfulness which is essential to my mental health and wellbeing. Not to mention a ripper sense of acheivement (and occasionally an overly smug satisfaction ) whenever I finish something new. I love creating things for you and hope it continues well into the future I'm so looking forward to seeing what fun new makes 2021 will bring. Happy new year!
