23.01.2022 The Bombstress is at it again. Just been checking out her Ingredients' List for today's bath bombs and noticed they contain a bit of rose 'drainiam'. I guess it makes sense given that after your bath, the final mixture goes down the drain... I mean, who wouldn't want their drainiams to smell of rose? I definitely do.

17.01.2022 Australian grown remedies for the Australian bush. I love that remedies from some of the nasties of the Australian bush can be found in Australian-grown plants. It seems a bit yin and yang to me. Today 2 of my children went on separate bushwalking excursions exploring our local area. 17.01.2022 I'm plagiarising your post @petit.papillonx but hope it is OK being for the common good?! This beautiful store is @theconsciousexchange in Lambton. I am a very proud stockist amongst other makers of delightful things. The dedication, care and kindness (to people and the planet) which goes into The Conscious Exchange and all its customers by the owners is amazing. I easily knocked off 80% of my Christmas list today, all plastic free and eco friendly by @thesegoldendaze an...d @petit.papillonx. Also @up.pottery and @marce_lvintage & @babycomebackthelabel. Little ones and big female ones are well catered for... it's only the 12 year old nephews I need to go elsewhere . 16.01.2022 I love making custom Ayurvedic soaps for my good friends @mokshaayurveda. It's even more special that their cousins grow, harvest and extract the beautiful lavender essential oil which I use to make this Pitta (Balancing) Soap. The strange thing is that these lavender farmers are also my cousins.... I don't think we really regard one and other as cousins, however, because first and foremost, we became friends. 15.01.2022 Do you know that guy at the @newcastlefarmersmarket who dresses up as a banana? You really can't miss him. The bananas which go into this soap are from him - Morning Mist Bananas at Whip Mountain in NSW. I love putting real food into my soaps. Bananas are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and so add gentle, moisturising properties to soap. Bananas also create extra bubbles. ... Pure Food Essentials organic ground cinnamon powder provides a beautiful, mild scent as well as a crazy line across each bar.
15.01.2022 We had so much fun together at the Homegrown Markets today. So lovely to see so many familiar faces and for such good and interesting chats with new ones. Someone even decided to come to the markets just to buy my soap...what a lovely compliment. Thanks everyone who came along!

Their reason for buying again was that, 'these are the first bath bombs I've ever tried that don't make me itchy'! Thanks for having us @the.fernery. 12.01.2022 And the last one back in stock for today... Australian Spearmint, Fresh Cucumber & Tapioca Soap with fresh, local cucumbers from @johnsonsfarmgate . A revitalising treat for the skin, cucumbers and spirulina are high in antioxidants so fight free radicals and toxins by cleansing, soothing, rehydrating, healing and nourishing the skin. Spirulina also contains chlorophyll which not only gives the green colour to this soap, but is also antibacterial and a great cleanser. ... Australian spearmint is refreshing and energising with positive effects on mood and relaxation but is also a great cleanser and healer, being antifungal, antibacterial and antiseptic.
10.01.2022 Local and chemical-free avocados from Bob's Farm, Port Stephens go into this soap. Avocado & Lime Soap is deeply nourishing & moisturising thanks to the fatty acids naturally present in fresh avocado, such as oleic acid and omega 3-rich alpha linolenic acid. Lime essential oil is cleansing and healing, and provides a refreshing scent.... Spirulina reinforces the green colour of this soap, and is also antibacterial and helps remove impurities, soften and detoxify the skin. It is now also back in stock.

I've finished making the last of the Christmas Baubles so in the next few days, I will change the website to reflect what is available to order, rather than ordering for custom made. There are a few new varieties, such as:... Brazilian Purple Clay with Australian Lavender Brazilian Purple Clay & Organic Blue Cornflowers with Australian Lavender Australian Peppermint Australian Peppermint with Organic Blue Cornflowers Organic Spirulina & Green Clay with Australian Peppermint Red Clay & Rose Geranium Red Clay, Rose Geranium & Dried Rose Petals Red Clay, Rose Geranium & Mixed Dried Petals If you have already bought some soap baubles or have received them as a gift, read on for directions for use and care instructions: -These Christmas Baubles can be hung from your tree, and after you pack away your tree, use it as a soap. -Some people may prefer to cut the baubles in half, so they don't roll about the bathroom, and for a better feel...but a soap rack will also help. -Christmas Baubles sent out by mail are sent in brown paper bags. If you are not using or gifting the Bauble for some time, I would recommend that you take the Bauble out of the bag and hang it up to allow for good ventilation. This is particularly so for the Baubles with flowers. As our climate is currently humid, and soap is made with water, the flowers, even though they are dried, may start to go bad if they are not kept in either a dry or well ventilated area. I haven't personally experienced this but imagine it is a possibility Hanging them on a hook or tree etc makes your home smell great and look lovely so it's a win win.
