14.01.2022 ** MONDAY MORNING KOMBUCHA ** Cherries are so synonymous with December and Christmas- I love cherries and can eat them by the bucket load! I scored 2kg of locally grown cherries over the weekend so I’ve got a small jar of cherry kombucha brewing now. I think I’ll turn this one into a body soap as I have a wild cherry fragrance that I have never used and it’s about time I do!... Lots of soaps coming your way at today so be sure to call back this afternoon for you weekly fix of What’s New On The Shelves. See you then Sandy xx

04.01.2022 SHAMPOO BARS 1. VANILLA CHEESECAKE - WITH RED HENNA - BACK IN STOCK - made with my own homemade apple cider vinegar fermented from our own homegrown apples! Apple cider vinegar is a powerful natural cleanser for your scalp. With egg yolks from our own hens for protein, locally produced honey for moisturising. With a heap of red henna powder added this shampoo bar is fabulous if you have coloured hair (it may help with highlights but I cannot guarantee it). Good for hair colou...red with dark brown/red. With the very subtle fragrance of vanilla cheesecake - base notes of crushed biscuits and sweet cream butter, middle notes of vanilla, sweetened condensed milk and cream cheese; with a hint of almond as a top note - so delicious! 2. LEMONS - WITH PURPLE BRAZILIAN CLAY - BACK IN STOCK - for a long time my blonde haired customers had been asking me to make a shampoo that can help with the brassy tinge that naturally occurs in their hair. For me it’s also important that whatever I use in my hair care is kept along the natural lines, so I formulated a bar just for the blondes! I’ve kept the base as the locally grown lemons for the whitening properties it gives, but I’ve added into this batch purple Brazilian clay to assist in balancing the brass tinge out with the natural purple colour. With egg yolks from our own hens for natural protein and locally produced honey for natural moisturising. I’ve used essential oils of lemon, lemon myrtle and lemongrass for their freshness and natural lightening properties for light coloured hair. How to use: Just rub the bar over your wet hair, massage the lather in to your scalp and then rinse off. Condition your hair as per your normal routine (or you can use a Soap by Sandy hair conditioning bar). it is important to let the bar dry out between uses to ensure a long life span. $6 each - the best value! No plastic bottles - less waste and environmentally friendly Other shampoo varieties available (including vegan shampoos) - see the 'shampoo bars' album in the photos section Available at Soap by Sandy or via mail order. 03.01.2022 ** CONDITIONER BAR INFO ** For anyone new to a Soap by Sandy conditioner bar... This is what my conditioner bars look like unwrapped.... All of my conditioner bars are wrapped in a compostable baking paper - so you can confidently pop it in your backyard compost bin. The ingredient sticker won’t stick to the baking paper hence they all have 1 length of sticky tape wrapped around them. And they leave your hair silky soft and shiny! Bonus! I’m coming up to 7 1/2 years now of no commercial shampoo and conditioner on my hair at all. And my hair is in perfect condition.
