15.01.2022 Cass & Remi transformed this outdated chest of drawers into a modern piece of furniture. They used China White mud paint and new knobs. Mud Paint is similar to Chalk paint but instead of being chalk based, it is clay based. Same prep as chalk paint and you do require to seal it afterwards with either wax or clear varnish to resist scratches and dirt. I have a good range of Mud Paint colours in stock.... 473ml can $35 The link below is the American website where you can have a look at the colours available. The prices are not applicable to Australia. https://mudpaint.com/

07.01.2022 I have been slack since Christmas but renewed vigour today and listed new soaps and cotton wash cloths in my store on ‘Made It’. I have relented and made vegan soaps ( no tallow or milk) and admit they are lovely to use. I have enlisted new help with the crochet of the cotton wash cloths, thanks, Raywin. https://madeit.com.au/Main/Store?userid=136231

02.01.2022 Buttermilk was originally the milk left after butter was churned. These days it is a cultured milk easily made at home and perfect for pikelets and .......soap! For every cup of fresh milk from our jersey cow, I add 1 tablespoon of vinegar, stir and let sit for 10 mins. It will curdle, just stir it again. I freeze it before I use it for soap making.
