22.01.2022 Black is the new orange bath bombs. These little beauties were fun to make and the smell of sweet orange is divine. I have used activated charcoal instead of other colourants which FYI is great for the skin and is even known to counteract some poison. I have noted that you do get black scum on your bath but I use my bar soap on a cloth and it comes right off so indulge ladies...and boys. Contact me if you want to order some or you just want the recipe

11.01.2022 Natural Medicine Commonly known as Kawakawa by the Maori of New Zealand is an aromatic shrub or small tree of New Zealand, Macropiper excelsum: held to be sacred by the Moris and also called peppertree. The leaves of the kawakawa plant have a long history of medicinal use and were commonly used as a tea to help with digestion, as an anti-inflammatory tonic.... The fruit, bark and leaves of the kawakawa all have medicinal properties. One of the most important healing herbs used by Maori and still widely used today. The leaves were chewed or made into an infusion to treat stomach ailments, bladder problems, the fruits were eaten as a diuretic. The leaves are chewed for toothache. Externally used to heal cuts, boils, bruises, rheumatism, and nettle stings. Leaves and bark are boiled in water and the resulting infusion used for the treatment of skin problems such as eczema. Kawakawa’s stimulating and rejuvenating properties made a good tonic. Today we make Kawakawa balm and Kawakawa soap that can be easily applied to the skin and has been successfully used to alleviate all sorts of rashes

06.01.2022 A+S Muscle Restore Bath Salts Surfers Paradise Available now $12 for 200g pack(pick up only)... There are few things in life that satisfy you like a long hot soak in the tub. Especially after an EPIC workout or even a long hard week at work. I'm not much in to epic work outs but I know how good it feels to take an A+S Muscle restore soak in the tub. Among the ingredients is Magnesium Sulphate, when added to warm bath water, can help alleviate muscle pain even as intense as that found in fibromyalgia. It has also been shown to reduce swelling, relieve stress, improve circulation, soften skin and improve mood. These minerals are absorbed effectively through the skin, providing almost instant relief from muscle aches and pains incurred on long training runs or other activities causing overexertion of large muscle groups. Performance Benefits Since magnesium is a common co-factor assisting in many physiological reactions throughout the body, it is no surprise that it is in great demand in the high performance athlete. Magnesium is involved in muscle regeneration reactions all of which are key during post training recoveries; these reactions involve protein synthesis, neuromuscular transmitters and the activation of B complex. Another consideration in athletes is their increased requirements for protein, which along with high intakes of calcium and vitamin D increase magnesium requirements. Stress and intense exercise deplete the body of magnesium making you more vulnerable to muscle cramps, body aches and grouchy moods after a long workout. Soaking in A+S Muscle Restore salt baths after running or extensive training can help prevent inflammation and irritation in your joints and muscles. Message me if you would like to buy some $12 per 200g pack
