Please be advised that the following processes are followed to alert the public: SMS alert is send out to those that are registered on the SMS Harvest Ban Hotline (to register go to https://www.brucerock.wa.gov.au/) Harvest Ban Hotline is updated (call 9061 1600) ABC and FM Radio Channels are notified Facebook is updated Members of the Public are encouraged to use these channels for the latest updates and not to phone staff or the Shire Office.



22.01.2022 MEDIA RELEASE - SHIRE OF BRUCE ROCK WINS STATE AWARD FOR TEMPORARY GROCERY STORE

20.01.2022 DFES have imposed a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the Shire of Bruce Rock from midnight Monday 23 November to midnight Tuesday 24 November 2020 inclusive. Harvesting and movement of vehicles in paddocks is permitted until a harvest & movement of vehicle ban is imposed by Local Government. Further info on total fire bans can be found at www.dfes.wa.gov.au

13.01.2022 ROADWORKS NOTICE Roadworks have commenced on the Bruce Rock - Narembeen Road, and are expected to be completed in mid-December. Council appreciates your patience with any delays that may occur, and asks that drivers obey all signage displayed, take caution and are mindful of the road workers, and drive to the conditions especially with the chance of dust impairing visibility.

07.01.2022 B R U C E ' S R O C K R E D E V E L O P M E N T Council are pleased to announce that in partnership with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions Bruce's Rock has gotten a facelift. 3 seating areas have been installed, the entry roads have been maintained and an interpretative information shelter has been installed detailing the history of sandalwood in the area, flora and fauna that can be spotted on the reserve, and the history of the reserve.... Bruce's Rock is the ideal place for your next picnic, just please remember to take your rubbish with you!
