20.01.2022 Day 2 Holiday Clinic Maroochydore FC School Holidays have never been more fun!!! Today on the second day of our program, our players spent their morning learning the fundamentals of dribbling against defenders, 2v2’s and 3v3’s in attack and defence, and the ability to pass with an emphasis on where and when in these situations.... We look forward to our final day of the program at Maroochydore FC. It’s not too late to register if you are still interested in the final day! 12.01.2022 We are delighted to invite your child to attend our Games Morning on Saturday 19 September. Following an action packed term of after school soccer we are inviting players from all of our programs to join together and showcase the skills they have learned and enjoy some small sided Soccer matches. Upon arrival, players will be split into teams and play a round robin competition. The Games Morning provides a positive way to finish the term and provide some game experience mov...ing into Term 4's programs. The session is complimentary for all players who attended one of our programs this year. Due to Covid restrictions we still require ALL participants to register. 11.01.2022 Soccer X Statement COVID-19 We would like to notify all parents & players on our current stance in relation to the Covid-19 virus. This is obviously a very try...ing time for everyone with lots of uncertainty and worry within our society and many people affected by the current situation in a variety of ways. Many of you will already be aware the Football Federation has suspended all sanctioned soccer training & matches until mid April. This suspension will directly impact upon our Club programs, which have already ceased and will resume in April alongside FFA guidelines. However, as a private company and independent sports provider our independent programs within schools will continue to run at this stage. As a private provider we fall in the same category as outside school care providers, sports centres, gyms and various other sports coaching companies who continue to trade. We will remain in close contact with the schools / partners and continue monitoring advice from the Australian Government & QLD health. We are in the fortunate position where we are able to limit participant numbers, adjust group sizes and tailor sessions to ensures players welfare. In turn, this limits the amount of spectators at sessions to ensure we are within guidelines set by the Government. As always, our programs are there as an option for parents/players to attend with no obligation or pressure from Soccer X. During the sessions/clinics we will be taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and best interests of all players: - No handshakes, high 5's - Small groups, maximum 15 per coach - No sharing of drinks bottles - Players with any illness / sickness will not be allowed to participate and be asked to return home with their parents Best wishes, The Soccer X Team
