13.01.2022 So it seems that our one indoor space of 150 sq metres is only allowed 10 patrons still. This is 15 sq metres per patron, almost 4 times the Australian covid standard of 4 sq metres per patron. The new 40 customer limit in regional Victoria announced today will not apply to most venues as most don't have 4 separate areas. Has anyone in this state government walked into a cafe or bar lately and had a look at the layout, not to many with solid walls all through them. It's just a slow death of what used to be a vibrant industry, so so very sad.
