25.01.2022 Welcome to our team YK, our new Head Chef YK started cooking at the age of 15 in Korea. He was a rebellious child, but one day whilst watching a cooking competition on tv he decided he wanted to be a chef as they looked cool !!... He has cooked around the world, Including Florida, U.S.A, Bennelong at the Opera house, Quay and Courgette a two hatted restaurant in Canberra. Whilst holidaying on the Gold Coast, YK & his family fell in love with the laid back, friendly lifestyle that the Golf Coast offers and lucky for us- they relocated. YK loves making people happy, seeing them enjoy the food he has prepared gives him great satisfaction, and he has a high respect for the ingredients and the hard working people that produce them. We look forward to sharing YK’s new adventure and I know our valued customers will join us in welcoming him to the Social Eating House family.

We are so grateful that we have been able to thrive in such times of uncertainty, we congratulate our fellow hospo superstars- whether you received a hat or not. ... 14.01.2022 Sorry we have been a bit quiet over here! We have been very busy in house and extremely grateful for everyone that has dined with us over this festive season. Wishing everyone an amazing 2021

10.01.2022 We are expanding our business & looking for an offsite space to use as a production kitchen Ideally this space will be fitted with commercial equipment, be food safe and within 15mins drive from Broadbeach. This could be an ex-restaurant tenancy or an industrial kitchen warehouse. If anyone knows of anything available please let us know
