23.01.2022 Co-ops NSW have advised today that the Co-operative Manual (Mark II) is now available for download via the Co-ops NSW website. The original released in 2013 was co-authored and produced by your truly (Peter Tregilgas) and interestingly but of no concern is that the cover design looks remarkably like the Mercury logo. This is an excellent initiative and great value especially for startups - download and use it. http://nsw.coop/

22.01.2022 Creatives Get Cooperative - Seminar (Sun 5 Jun) + Workshop (Mon 6 Jun) "ownership, language, structure and sharing for a creative new economy" Who hijacked the bus! Linguistics Professor @GhiladZuckermann (Uni of Adelaide) describes the image of a genuine bus advertisement in San Francisco as a prostitution of sharing. To use a bus , the basic of ride sharing as an advertising vehicle vividly illustrates a mockery the concept of fair distribution through enterprise colla...boration. Social Enterprise has been diminished by Not for Profit and the Sharing Economy is hoodwinked by Uber et al and now hijacked by corporates such as MacDonalds. Q&A style panel will engage with Joshua Vial of Enspiral Network NZ, the international award winning network championing the voice of millennials; rethinking co-operatives and collaboration building understanding of pooling resources and income, building trust and management of groups. But wait there's more ... from strategy comes structure ... the Panel will also include: @ClaireMarshall as facilitator & @JessScully former Vivid Ideas Curator plus @DrNataliaNikolova (UTS) Tickets and details available: https://lnkd.in/ehxQRYC Note: Complimentary Bursary tickets available via: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WFQS5WZ #creativesgetcooperative; #vividideas; #vividsydney
