This weekend The Social Equestrian is involved in The Battle of The Ballarat Businesses which is a sponsorship initiative of the Friends of Ballarat Eventing Association. In return for their sponsorship, each business is paired with an #EliteRider from the 3* or 4* Class in the Marcus Oldham Ballarat International Horse Trials. ... Throughout the weekend the business is able to meet, spend time with and follow the progress of their rider. Additionally, the rider carries the name of the business with them and thus provides a terrific marketing opportunity! Check that all of the information on your social media accounts is up to date. eg Check your IG Profile and your FB About page. Make sure that all of your links are working.... 2. Review all of your settings. 3. Check over your website. Is everything up to date and are all of your links working? 4. Be sure to check the appearance and functionality of your social media accounts and website on your mobile, laptop and desktop. 5. Repeat step 4 on both iOS and Android. 6. Consider changing your FB cover photo if you havent done so recently. 7. Have you installed a profanity filter? Let me know if you would like me to send you a list of words to use (not for the faint hearted!) 8. Consider nominating a trusted person as a second Admin. 9. Install two factor authentication. 10. Marketplace Page Shops Instagram shopping Many equestrian groups and business pages have been closed down for advertising "Horses For sale", "For Lease" or "Free to Good Home." The policy is somewhat ambiguous because you can create a personal post on your newsfeed or create an ad via your ads manager. Dont run the risk of having your Page/Group deleted. We recommend removing all such advertisements from your account and instead directing people to your website.
